I’m thinking about buying a PS4, but I’m aware that PS5 is right around the corner. 

Is it still worth buying PS4 or should I just wait for 5?

PS4 will be cheaper and games will still come out on it years after 5 is released. And I also got told that 5 will have technical issues upon release that will need to be ironed out. 

Me and this girl matched on Tinder and things started off very well. We talked a lot, got along well and had plenty in common. After a little over a week we met in person and that went well I thought. I told her that I liked her, and she was very flattered by it, and she said that she liked me too. But after a while things started to drop off. She was just talking less and less and would take much longer to reply to me (despite being active on other social media) and every time I tried to arrange to come see her again she’d just say “I’ll let you know” but of course she didn’t. We were supposed to go to the movies together but that never happened, thanks to her cancelling at the last minute on two separate occasions.

Now here is where I think I might’ve just been overreacting or looking too far into it, but when I tagged her in this thing on Facebook about the movie we were supposedly going to see together, she did not acknowledge at all and shortly later tagged another guy in something else, in a thing a *** nonetheless! I felt pretty offended by that.

So then I asked her if she had a thing with that guy instead. She said no and that they were just close friends and had a lot of inside jokes. Everybody I told about that agreed that it was rude and harsh of her and one in particular said it was good by me to call her out on it instead of letting her get away with such sheer rudeness.

For a Hospitality assignment I got to do, my topic is on low fat food/diets. One of the question involves a scenario that you have to explain how you would handle when working in a restaurant:

You work as a food and beverage attendant in a popular CBD restaurant. On a busy Friday night, a customer informs you of their particular dietary requirement (low fat) during service.

• What actions should you take to accommodate the customer in this situation? (List and briefly explain the main steps involved)

• How would you ensure that you have met the customer’s dietary requirements

• The specific preparation and service requirements of the foods

• Relevance and clarity of content

AFL Fixture was released today, how do think your club fared?

Port Adelaide got a much tougher draw, which we were always going to get due to our success in 2013. Disappointing we only get 4 games in Melbourne (I live there) but at least we don't have to go down to the Geelong for the 48th year in a row. I also think we deserved at least 1 more Friday Night game.

Now, I have also changed my username because it came to my attention that other users were taking shots at me with names such as "Kurt Tippett Society (R.I.P GT)" & "Stephen Dank Society (R.I.P James Hird)" So I decided to change my name.

I have to do this assignment for a Hospitality course I'm doing. It's about dealing with foreign customers and how you communicate with them, any dietary requirements they may have. Apparently, with Germans, they sound like they're demanding you to do something but they're actually just telling you what they want or asking you to do something, normally in their eyes.

I'm not sure at all on this so any help would be appreciated :)

Trying not to brag on here, I'm absolutely over the moon about that Showdown win. How Angus Monfries kick bounced through the goals like that I'll never know, but it was amazing. But Chad Wingard, 5 goal performance including the match winner...and it's only his second year. I think he's most deserving of our B&F this year, had plenty of stand-out performances this year and he'll poll pretty high in the Brownlow (won't win this year - I'm not in anyway getting that ahead of myself)

He is just phenomenal, and the last ever Showdown at AAMI Stadium is ours!!! Bad luck to the decent Crows fans on here, we were both treated to a brilliant game of football from start to finish. So yeah, how far do you all think Chad Wingard can go?

After a dream 5-0 start we've slumped to 5-5 and our season is now on the ropes. Don't know what the problem is, anyone have any ideas. We got a bye next week then GWS...before a nightmare run of Sydney, Collingwood, Essendon and Hawthorn.

Our poor starts have cost us too many times this year, our first quarter was good tonight but the second half was honestly disgraceful. I don't know what the problem is but everything's turning to sh!t at Alberton.

Port Adelaide had their first loss of the season yesterday, and recently I've felt the umpires deserve more respect, but their performance in the Hobart match yesterday was seriously questionable. Something's not right when the free kick count is 38-15.

We lost and I'm going to have to accept that and move on, but just thought I'd raise the question to anyone who may have witnessed the game yesterday.

I can say they got us at a good time because Hinkey was unable to coach and I'd sure like to know the result of a match the last time there was a difference of 23 free kicks. To think we almost won still. 10 points...come on! Excuses aren't going to overturn the result for us, I know, just stating my hard opinion.

In an unusual event, Power coach Ken Hinkley is not allowed to coach this weekend due to a virus & severe back pains and he is currently recovering in hospital.

Alan Richardson will be his temporary replacement. So what does everyone think of this? Just though I'd toss it on here since it's uncommon and interesting what's happening right now. They just told Alan on AFL 360 to not "muck up" our 5-0 start to the season, so there's pressure on him right there, and at least this provides us with a half-decent excuse if we lose hahaha :p

I asked a question before but it got removed because it was attacking a user on this site (everyone would know the Crows supporter I'm referring to) so I'll go again without the attack:

What does everyone have to say about Port Adelaide's emphatic comeback? 31 points down in the third quarter to go on to win the game. Critics can no longer say "we only beat Melbourne and GWS" because we've claimed a decent scalp tonight. With Gold Coast next week, that's a no excuse game so can't lose that, and West Coast at AAMI who honestly aren't playing that well. But...I won't get ahead of myself, I'll enjoy this Showdown victory to my possible fullest.

Another question, which comeback was better? Essendons or Ports?

Dolph Ziglers catch in on RAW was an exact replica of Miz's on Randy Orton on Randy Orton in 2010. Both champions (Orton & Del Rio) had gruelling championship matches with a leg injury to go along with them. They both won the matches, then the MITB holders come out to to cash in, once the match is underway they go right for the injured leg/knee. The champion fights valiantly only for the person cashing in to win the match.

Well known user Big Kev has been asking some off-topic question during the off-season, which I think is a good way to keep this small community occupied when there is no footy on.

In Rugby World Cups, there's a Bronze Final. The two teams that lose the semi-finals and thus not qualifying for the final, play off in a game for the Bronze Final. The two teams that played in this game in the last World Cup (2011) were Australia and Wales.

As you all know, Sydney and Hawthorn played in this year's AFL Grand Final. If there was a Bronze Final in AFL, Adelaide and Collingwood would have sqaured off, since they lost their Preliminary Final matches.

Ken Hinkley has got the coaching job at Port Adelaide. I think he'll be good, big wraps for him, even Crows coach Brenton Sanderson talked him up, and he'd know him well since they worked for so long at Kardina Park.

Also, rumors flowing that Angus Monfries has been offered a 4 year contract, so we look like getting him.
