What does the future hold for Chad Wingard?
Trying not to brag on here, I'm absolutely over the moon about that Showdown win. How Angus Monfries kick bounced through the goals like that I'll never know, but it was amazing. But Chad Wingard, 5 goal performance including the match winner...and it's only his second year. I think he's most deserving of our B&F this year, had plenty of stand-out performances this year and he'll poll pretty high in the Brownlow (won't win this year - I'm not in anyway getting that ahead of myself)
He is just phenomenal, and the last ever Showdown at AAMI Stadium is ours!!! Bad luck to the decent Crows fans on here, we were both treated to a brilliant game of football from start to finish. So yeah, how far do you all think Chad Wingard can go?
Being Hamish Hartlett or Chad Wingard's boyfriend (I assume you mean HH) would be nothing to be ashamed of, and I do remember you saying once Meth that you support equal rights for all people, that being gays. I can assure you that I am 100% straight, but I hope you weren't trying to use homosexuality as an insult right there.
You drew your attention to Hamish Hartlett after half time, which probably worked given his quiet second half, but Wingard was then able to run free. And as for blaming the umpires, according to afl.com.au you guys won the free kick count 18-13.
@Meth, Lewis Johnson had a very good game for his first of the year, I wouldn't put too much on him in terms of costing you guys the game.
@Thereem, we choked over the line did we? Hahaha good one, Crows are the ones that let go of a 20 point lead deep in the final quarter. Also, we're two games clear in 8th spot now. We still got Gold Coast and Carlton at AAMI to come. Geelong and Fremantle are tough ones, probably won't beat those two.

Chad Wyngard has been in my D.T. & S.C. teams from the get go this season.
I did get the opportunity to watch one of his first games which was in the NAB cup fixture last season. he was fantastic then. so i see no reason why he can't become a major player in the Powers midfield for many more seasons yet.

No point bragging... Port played very well and were able to match the POSA in everything we could throw at them, but at the end of the day the gods (and umpires) were on your side and gave you a "get out of jail free" card.
As far as Wingard is concerned, if he can play like that more consistently then the future will hold....some close attention from opposition players. Can't believe that prick wasn't shut down after half time.
BTW - I did get some good DT points from your boyfriend! So I'll take that!!
Edit - I wasn't referring to your homosexual lust for Hamish as an insult... why would you think that it was an insult? :)
And yes, the free kick count should have been even more lop sided than that given that the umpires practically raped our boy Thomo in the first half and put the whistle away in the second. There's a fine line between going in hard and going in reckless and giving away frees (which I thought Port did). Having said that I believe that Johnston (our rookie forward) had a chance to seal the game but blew it when he tried to go for goal instead of pass to Dangerfield.

I've had both of your boyfriends HH and Wingard in my SuperCoach team all year, but Wingard's 5 goals doesn't quite match Tippy's 6!
