As foolish as I feel I will explain. I run a small hauling business, I received a call from this company offering me a job the. It was a pickup at a hotel I figured great. The said the would mail a check I agreed. Anyways when I got there I discovered it wasent the hotel employing me it was this company now a third party. I walked away from the job. I got countless calls that they needed me. So I told them to upfront me half and the rest when I was done. They sent half. I have been waiting for this check 2 weeks. They always have an excuse. And the person who hired me over the phone don't even live in the same state the company is registered under she said it was an alternate location or different office. Well stupid ms I got excited about a good paying job. I'm not site if there is anything I can do other than to just learn from it and never do business like that again. I just want go know if this has happened to anyone else I can't find anything on these people except an number and address. Please no sarcasm I feel foolish as it is.

I responded to an ad on craigslist, this person wanted to get rid of scrap metal. I showed up and took everything she said I could take. Later I receive I text she gave ms something that wasn't hers it was her brothers. I have it, I also have his other item however it's in pieces now unusable scrap now. I agreed to return his item . My question is can he come after me for it. Also out of curiosity am I obligated by law to return the other item that is still good. I'm an honest person indent won't to be a jerk and say f u. However I am would like to know if I have to return it, I will like unsaid just curious.

I'm new to this I have got the basics down. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that might be useful. I'm looking for some more advanced ways of finding more precious metals and scraping . What are some things I can scrap that mow people normally over look the market is saturated so it can be difficult.

I'm getting into scraping among other things . Would anyone be so kind to give me some advice on what to look out for other than obvious stuff like scrap metal like appliances metal chairs lawnmowers . I must recycle scrap tin and insulated cords. Are there any tricks or tips things other people normally don't give a second look at . Like where to find brass aluminum I have a hard time identifying some metal . I know aluminum is non magnetic. Any help would be great. I would be willing to exhange some helpful info as well for any helpful advice .

I have this very nice tv armoire with the bottom 2 drawers missing. Im trying the think outside the box and come up with a creative way to replace them with something custom that would make it look unique( eye catcher ). Any suggestions would be great im stumped here. I dont want to half butt it and just add a shelf i think i can do better than that.

I am becoming quite the curb surfer. I drive around many miles looking for unwanted items place on the side of the road. I restore it to sell worthy condition and turn it for a profit. I am excited about this new way of making money I have discovered and am getting rather good at. However when i talke to some people seem a bit annoyed about what I do, like im being shady. They make me feel like what I am doing is wrong being its almost 100% profit. I have sold some items to my co-workers. Maybe this is whats annoying to I try to avoid being a sells man at work but then again Im trying to make some money and I sell this stuff 65% retail mrak down and more sometimes more, good deal. Honest opinions please.

I'm a little worried I got ripped of, I bought the mitts from amazon one mitts on the face side looks faded compared to the other almost looks like a cheaper material was used the rest of the mitt looks exactly the same the other. Is it supposed to be that way

I am a true rookie when it comes to anything about cars. I really want get started in restoring and rebuilding to try and make some extra cash. I no its alot of work a whole lot of work. Im trying to find out where would be a good place to start. As far money is concered i mean to start at low end. I am aware of the higher end classics worth more. I extended for retraining and have the 14 mths i need. I had to extend out 19mths for that. I am a first termer. I have an assignment now and I need the retainability for it I need 11 more months which i cant cause i can only go out 23 mths. MPF seems confused. AFPC said I need to reenlist my DOS is a year from now and the MPF says I am to far out to reenlistment I have read that I need a wavier if I need retainability for my assignment. Im so confused, plus i need the retainability before my assignment is processed or I will lose it. Plus if i reenlist now I lose all srb entitlements for my new job , I hope someone can help thanks.What do i need to do

Is there help out there for her. Is there any charity or donations organizations for her grants anything. They have tried for social security and medicaid and were denied. Due to the fact the father makes to much and he himself is on disability. This is most unfotuntate. I need help please. I have done reasearch and am stuggling to find info cause someone please help.
