My husband is graduating from AF Tech school as a Military Working Dog Handler. I know they make rings for K-9, but I can't seem to find them anywhere online. I've seen a couple with them, but they purchased them from the base itself during school. Does anyone know of anywhere online that sells them?

A few months back, my computer starting really going bad. I updated and installed Norton, but in the end, the computer was totally shot and I had to get a new one. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to but the Norton that I paid for (a year's subscription) on this computer. The email that I received from them was on the old computer, so I don't have a product code or anything. Any ideas?

I got some kind of nasty virus, that has messed my ability to access my internet browsers. I know the internet itself works, because I can use my Yahoo messenger, but I can't get on the web. I primarily use Mozilla Firefox, and when I try to get online, it will shut down, and then tell me that Firefox has crashed. As a result, I can't download anything. The virus has turned my Norton off, so it can't update. When I try, Norton tells me that I have a corrupt Host file, causing it to not be able to connect with one of it's providers.

Does anyone know how to manually repair a corrupt host file? The only thing I'm finding online are all downloads.

I ordered my daughter a netbook for Christmas. I ordered it direct from China (Ebay) and it worked fine....and then it froze. When we try to start it, the Smart Book name comes up, and underneath it reads "Loading OP image" with the little loading bar.... and that's it. That's all it will do.

I have tried pushing the restart button, as well as taking out the battery. And it continues to do the same thing.

Any suggestions would be great.

A friend of a friend of a friend..... gave one of my toddler son's a 'bean bag' filled with animal feed for Christmas. He's from Montana, and I guess they heat them up at night, and use it to warm their beds. He said they used them to warm the kids cribs, when they were little, before they'd put them down. My son LOVES it. We warm it in the microwave before he lays down, and he lays it across his stomach and goes right to sleep. Problem is, now my 18 mo old son wants it..... Does anyone have any idea what kind of feed goes into these things? I searched all over the internet and I can't find them. The guy who gave it to him said that if you get the wrong kind of feed, that it can get moldy, and get weevils.....! Has anyone heard of these?

2006 Montana, with duel power sliding doors. The driver's side slider is messed up. It won't close with the buttons, either the over head drivers button, nor the one on the door frame. It will open, but won't close at all. Even when I flip the over head switch, to manually close it, half the time it rips the door from my hand and opens it again. If I do manage to get it to close and stay closed, it won't stop DINGING!!!!! I'm inside right now, with the keys in hand, and it's still out there dinging. The interior lights won't turn off in the back, either. There's nothing showing up on my dash display saying that the door is open. The only time it stops, for a second, is if I push the power button to open it, but as soon as it's open (and then takes an act of God to close) it starts Dinging again.

We live in military housing. We moved last month from a house that was absolutely infested. I don't keep a dirty home, and they weren't normally in places where there was food, anyhow. We went through 2 bathroom scales, because they nested in them (in the morning, the LCD screen was so full of them, you'd have to kick it and make them run before you would even weigh yourself), and one counter top radio (when you opened the CD player, you'd have to wait for them to run). When I moved my 55 gallon fish tank, they had nested where all of the wires and motors (for the bubblers) were. When I moved my computer, they were all up in the printer, and again, had nested where the wires were all tied up and stuffed behind the CPU. It was seriously like something from a horror movie.

When we moved into the new home, I made sure to bomb first, as it had sat empty for a year, and when we brought in boxes, I seriously brought in one box at a time, and emptied it in the middle of the living room floor so we could squish anything that ran out. I made a point of washing everything in my kitchen by hand before putting anything into the cabinets.....and yet those damn things are back! First we started seeing little ones, and now they're bigger. I assume we brought in eggs, but now what? And at night, they're WAY worse. They'll walk right up to you in the middle of the living room!

Not to mention, we live in SC, literally a couple blocks from a marsh area off the Ashley River, so we have wonderful Palmetto Bugs that also come in at night (for those lucky enough to not know, they're like GIANT cockroachs, seriously, about 2 inches long)

So, with all that.... now what? I also have 3 kiddos' at home, the youngest are 1 and 2, and a dog.....so I really can't use anything that's just out where they can get to it.

HELP..... any suggestions???

We just received ours today, they work great, but we can't figure out how to "space" when we're texting. There's no space bar. Help.

Okay, I'm going to explain this as best I can without having a picture up. I have a 55 gallon fish tank, and we've found these things, that look like egg sacs or something. If you can imagine, taking one of those baby corns they use in asian food, cutting it lengthwise , and sticking half of it on the side of the tank. The weird thing is, the level on the water has been down about 4-5 inches from the top of the tank (I have a couple of jumpers), and we're finding these things all the way at the top of the tank; out of the water. I've found 3 now within the past week and a half.

For the record, I have 5 neon tetras, 2 orange glow fish, 2 marbled mollies, 2 angel fish, 2 snails and 3 big (4-5" long) gold fish. I also have two real lilly pads growing in the tank.

Anyone got any ideas what these things are? They're hard-ish (I'm afraid to really squish them). Should we just leave them????

Yesterday, after taking a shower I couldn't find the regular comb I use, so I just grabbed another one off the counter. I didn't dry my hair, just put it up, and went upon with my day. By bed time, when I took my hair down, it was SO nasty. The entire crown of my head, for about 3-4 inches, felt like I had put way too much creme or gel in it, but i didn't use any....it was gross. I thought it was just because I'd used my husbands shampoo. Today, I took another shower, used a clarifying shampoo and conditioner......and it's the same!

I think, the comb I used yesterday, may have had old hair colouring on it, from combing through the colouring when I last did my hair. Which means not only did I brush it through my hair, but I left it on there for over 24 hours. My hair is a mess! I tried to dry it a bit, and it still feels nasty and gummy. Is there any hope?

Does anyone know some secret deep conditioner that will work on fine hair that seems to have melted?

And please, don't just throw out the suggestion "Guess you'll have to shave your head" It's not funny, and I've been growing my hair out for 5 years now. That's really not even an option.

Please, any honest suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to get a virus on a PSP memory card? My daughter has a brand new (Christmas) PSP 3000. She downloads songs regularly from Lime Wire onto her card. Today, it just seemed to poop out. The PSP acknowledged that something was in there, but wouldn't read the card (kept saying that nothing was there). We were able to finally get it to work, but it said it reformatted the entire card, and therefore dumped all of her data; games and songs. Now it (the card) doesn't seem to work at all. So my questions are, could she have gotten a virus on the card.....can it be fixed.....and could this have damaged her PSP in any way? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When I initially did my federal income tax, my job had reported my income to the wrong state (I live in Missouri, but worked in Kansas). I went ahead and filed my federal, but had to wait to get the proper W-2 to file my state. Now that I have them, I'm trying to figure out how to make the correction on Turbo Tax. Does anyone have any idea how to make the correction? It will let me review my state return summary's but not make the change.

I've had MANY issues with BOA, but my main one right now is with my mortgage. I have an 80%-20% split mortgage with them. I claimed it on my Bankruptcy, which was discharged in August of '07. That same month I began the paperwork to do a short sale, being assured by BOA that it would be completed by the end of the calender year. As a result, my family and I moved out of the home 12/1/07. Over the past 10 months, the file has changed hands 4 different times, resulting in lost paperwork, and forms needing to be resubmitted each time. The current person in the office of Lost Mitigations has had the file since Feb 14. I have had spans of time where I have literally spent over a month calling daily trying to get ahold of this man. Now they're saying that they're not going to do the sale, and are suggesting a Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure. Problem is, I haven't been able to get ahold of them for 2 weeks again. This is insane. Has anyone else delt with this?

Here's the deal. If I'm lucky, my truck will start out driving just fine, but when I hit about 40 mph, it almost feels like it is shifting into too high a gear. I have my foot on the floor, and the RPM's are going as high as 4500, but i lose speed. It will normally stay this way for a while afterwards, even after I shut the car off. If it's in this "mood" it does the same thing in reverse, which leads me to believe that it's not the transmission (since there's only one R gear). I'm wondering if it may not have something to do with the gas? Maybe it's not being fed to the engine properly?. I'm lucky if I can get the thing up to 50mph and maintain it. Even if I get up that fast and turn the cruise control on, it does the same thing.

And yeah, I know, take it to a mechanic. But my husband is currently deployed and I hate to just walk in and have no clue, and run the risk of getting ripped off.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My son is not yet a year old, the SSN office is telling me it will take weeks to get a new card. My husband finishes this round of training in 2 weeks and then goes to the desert....does anyone know if there is a way I can find out what his SSN is? I don't even need the card, just the number.

While changing my 4 1/2 month old son, I've noticed quite bit of 'peach fuzz' on his testicles. This is my first son, as I have two daughters, but I know this isn't right. I'm also a nurse, but don't even remember hearing of anything like this. Is there anyone else out there who's seen or heard of this? Is this something I should bring up to his pediatrician at his next check up? Don't know if it's of any significance, but he was 1 month premature, but is already in the 95% for his height and weight, and wearing 9-12 month clothes.

I've tried everything! I've tried the vinigar/dish soap remedy, it caught a few, but nothing compared to how many we have. I bombed my whole house this week, and I swear they're taunting me! They were back with a vengance by the next day! Bombing seemed to get rid of them for a couple months before, but it had no effect this time. I don't want to use too many harsh chemicals, as I have a 5 week old baby, but I can't even make his bottles without having gnats flying all around. HELP!!!!!!
