Laptop was able to read CDs and DVDs no problem, then one day suddenly the whole D drive does not appear for some reason. No viruses, no damage done...any ideas?

I had an open-intox passenger citation. I'm supposed to be getting married June 10th in the Caribbean but my officer told me I can't go unless I complete the 25 hours of service this month. I don't think they'll be able to assign me fast enough, but I do a ton of volunteer work anyway. Will any of it count towards that? Seems really stupid that helping people in a poor community won't count, they want me to do service in one of the richest counties in the nation, instead... Okay that was just me ranting! :)

I'm afraid introducing it too soon will confuse her, but don't want to wait too long, either, if it can be done.

We have an 11-week old Chihuahua. We've started training her to go potty outside but would also like to teach her to use a litter box when we're at work. I'm afraid she'll get confused when I introduce a litter box in ADDITION to pottying outside. I have a week and some off or work and would like to fully concentrate on housebreaking. Can we still litter train even though we've been taking her outside already?

He's 11 years old, and humps everything-toys, his cage, perches, dishes...everything. And he does it all the time, he does it at least five times a night. He's not getting a female and it's embarrassing when I have guests. I yell at him but he thinks that's funny. Anybody know of a way to get him to stop??

Stopped taking birth control pills after five year in March. Got my period, then got it two weeks later on April 2. Had sex April 18th, started spotting the next day. The 20th I went for my annual and have been spotting since then, for a total of 5 days. I'm supposed to restart taking the pill on the Sunday after my period, so I don't know if this is it and it's just really really light (been funky since I stopped the pills anyway) or if it's just from sex/pap a few days ago. Any ideas anybody?

I have a whole bunch of the older Oregon Trail and Sim games, but they won't run on my laptop, I think because of Vista. Is there anything I can add or update so that they will play?

I have been taking BC pills for five years and decided to stop taking them two days ago. I had my period last week (Tuesday-Saturday), took my first pill Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, then stopped taking them. Today (one week after the last day of my period) I've started again. Is this normal?

I've had him for 9 years, since he was a baby. He never used to bite although he's always been afraid of hands/fingers. He'd hiss and do that gentle nip (not really a nip, just putting his beak on me to tell me not to touch). He started biting when I adopted a second cockatiel a few months ago. He will actually run across his cage when I walk towards him, eager to sink his beak in. I'm talking with intent to draw blood, and he does break skin each time I get close enough. The birds are both male, they are not caged together and while they don't play together, they don't quarrel at all. The biter is very interested in playing with the sweet one, but the sweet one only wants to play with his people (me). I'm not sure if this has something to do with it. I've tried ignoring his attacks, tried not to pull away when he bites so he doesn't learn biting works, tried telling him "no" in a mean way..all with no luck. He does seem calmer when the other bird isn't in the room. Help?

I found them at Best Buy/Circuit City for pretty cheap and they say they have the full version of over 100 arcade games. Has anybody tried those and are they any good? I wanted to get one for my boyfriend's nephews but I don't want it to either not work or be stupid.

If the US requires there to be a "separation of church and state" and scientology is now a religion, why is the beliefs associated with it allowed to be taught in public schools, but beliefs of other religions is not allowed to be mentioned whatsoever in public school? Is this not favoring one religion over another, thus, in a sense, forcing a religion on a person indirectly?
