While staying at a hotel my Japanese client saw me running in a sports bra, is that inappropriate?

Question

I'm on a business trip and didn't pack a t-shirt to run in, only my sports bra (actually two, I wore both) so I opted to hop on the treadmill in my yoga pants and two sports bras. My Japanese clients walked by and saw me. Was that way inappropriate?

If you were in Japan, maybe but not if you were in the US.

Actually in some of Japan's warmer climates the women take off their tops completely while doing their work, and the women in other areas there do wear bikinis at the beach.  So the probably did not even think much of it.
