My taxes went up this year because the county where I live is bankrupt. This caused my $800 mortgage to increase to $1500 and as my younger sister recently moved in and gave birth to twins my other expenses have also gone up without any increase in income.

This seems wrong.

Is there anything I can do about this? Are there programs that can help? Please let me know about anything I can do to get my payment lowered or help defray the payment until I can sell the house.

He's got his moments when he's pretty but i really hope he doesn't win and i kinda hope he gets hit by a car. The sound of his voice just fills me with a terrible rage... Like, i didn't hate Sanjaya this much...

I was doing some research that pulled up a link to an article about how Chris Brown beating Rihanna was an act of God.

So, in a nutshell, can someone please tell me that this is all fake? The posts are so ridiculous that i can't accept that anybody would believe in most of it, but if it were satire it would be posted somewhere on the site right? Contrary to that logic, they insist that it is real...

lol, i catch myself thinking "he's cute" and then having to pause and think "it's a frigging cartoon of what they think they look like."

I'm not trying to bash anybody out there who loves someone who doesn't love them back, that's your business, and to be honest i've been there, or think i have.

there's this stereotypical stage that many lgbt youths go through where they love someone (usually a straight friend), but now that i'm getting older i look back and think it was just a crush (obsession if i'm being honest) but i don't think i really loved them.

love is knowing and accepting, even valuing all of a person's flaws, and i definately didn't know, accept, or value miller's (my 7th-9th grade obsession) flaws, i look back and realize i barely knew him.

so, is it possible to love someone you're not involved with? i'm starting to wonder if it's possible to love someone you don't live with. i read marisha pessle say that "you can't love someone until you've flossed next to them in the mirror three hundred times"

basis: i've always thought of myself as cute at best, plain on average, but lately i've had a bunch of guys tell me how hot i am, so i was thinking i'd get opinions from people who weren't trying to get into my pants and see what they thought.

Ok, so i went clubbing the other night and during one of the shows i met this guy named michael. He's really sweet (one of the nicest guys i think i've ever met) and we ended up talking and hanging out and swapping numbers.

Enter problem number 1: I get home and look him up, he's 30 (i would have guessed 25) and I'm 18 (he thought i was at least 23)

I was a little iffy about that, but there was more to come.

Enter problem number 2: he spent twelve years in prison for killing a guy.

He was young, and he was being attacked in a bad part of town, he had a box cutter and he did some pretty serious damage but the guy didn't really feel it and kept going, and eventually bled to death.

I've told three friends, one met him and still thinks i should give it a shot, the other two heard the story and told me to run screaming.

He's really sweet, cute, has a job and a house... I can see us getting serious because we both want the same things out of life, but I'm still nervous because of all of the problems built into the relationship....

Advice please? And I swear if anybody says 'follow your heart' I'll go apesh*t.

Do you ever feel like you need to dress well, listen to techno and Cher and Madonna (Indigo Girls for my lesbian sisters) to fit into the gay community?

I'm not a stereotypical gay guy. I wear jeans and hoodies, I drive a crappy, dirty, old car, I don't work in retail, I know fashion but I don't run around screaming about Heidi Klum or Tyra.

Sometimes I feel like I don't fit in anywhere because the straight guys (who i could pass with) don't want to hang out with me because i'm gay and gay guys don't want to hang out because i'm not gay enough.

Anybody else feel that way?

Ok, so one of my best friends is obSINity, former Ms. Apollo National (second of three Birmingham queens to win in the last three years, but that's totally unrelated). His real name is Billy and i'm starting to get the impression that he's got feelings for me. I love this guy to death, but honestly i think he's more attractive as a woman and can never imagine doing anything more than cuddling. I am gay, but I think it could be the enormous wig/shaven head contrast that makes the difference in my opinion of attractiveness... I like long hair on my guys...

Anyway, should he bring it up, what is the best way to tell him that I'd sooner do him as a woman than as a man? O.o
