Has anyone participated actively in the "Free Hugs" campaign?

Question

i've been aware of this for a while, and i've pretty much decided to do it.

just wondering if anybody had advice/suggestions.

heard of it but i dont think you need to be in a campaign to give free hugs. anyone want one?

My friend sent me something and it said Free Hug Friday (and then they had the date on it... It was october of last year) and I did that, it was fun. However, when you're offering free hugs, you're offering EVERYONE free hugs, and there are just some people I really don't wanna hug out there... Some kid who basically stalked me was trying to get a hug... I was like "Oh, did I say that's today? I meant next Friday!"

Next Friday: "Have you seen Jelle?"

"She's not in school today... Something about a Creeper and.... Free hugs...?"

I don't like being touched by strangers so no, I can't do this. While it's a great idea for some, other people seriously value their personal space.
