want to know something that is not mainstream, we know there is underage drinking, but what type of social problems are present today that we have not seen?

So, we have been divorced for 4 years ( no children), but have remain close friends, this week he asked me to get life insurance on him, he said that I was the only person he could trust if something should ever happen to him ( he is right). I asked him if he was sick or something, but he said nothing was wrong with him, he wants me to be able to bury him and he wants me to be financially secure. I joked with him, if I get insurance and something happens to him, the authorities would think I set him up or something. Is it even possible to get insurance on someone you are no longer married to? I do not know what type of insurance to get or what is a normal premium, I have always had insurance through my job! Can someone help me with this, by the way, he smokes cigarettes and we both are 33 years old.

I have had a ECG, chest ex-ray, blood work and a stress test where I was put on a treadmill and they monitored my heart, everything was well, but it seems to me like every time Im trying to relax i notice that my heart feels like its beating faster. I have been drinking Lipton tea, not everyday though. Could this be symptoms of a panic attack or stress?

I had been visiting the church's bible study, and was invited on sunday (today), so I went, sowed my seed because the bible study was good, and I wanted to support the church! while the service was wrapping up, the Pastor had an altar call for anyone who needed a church home or anyone who needed prayer, I didn't move! so after church the Pastor asked me what was hindering me from joining his church or any other church for that matter! I explained to him I had just left a church in May, and I was not looking to join a church anytime soon, at this point, Im really learning to have a better relationship with the Lord, I informed him that I was a born-again believer, but that didn't seem to matter, anyway I was told by this Pastor that I was in disobedience. I have Godly mentors that keep me accountable! I feel persecuted!

Im single, no children, been divorced for almost 3 years, went back to school, obtained a BA in Sociology, applying for grad school, live on my own, good neighborhood. a bit on the heavy side, beautiful, love the Lord.......I guess Im old fashion, I don't believe in chasing guys and approaching them. My cousin passed away in a car accident and the funeral will be at his aunt church who is a member and faithful tithe payer also a great help to the ministry, the pastor is officating the funeral says its nothing he can do because its the deacons decision. The repast will not be at the church, I just think this is a bit much! This was my family church but only the aunt goes!

My cousin passed away and we are having his funeral at his aunts church, they are charging us 300 dollars! This has been a family church for many years but now only my aunt goes! She is a faithul tithe payer and she is a great help to the ministry! Also the repast will not be at this church! I recently left a church after three and half years, to make a long story short, there was a lot of legalism going on, basically verbal abuse going on over the pulpit, works were encouraged more than anything, the main focus was getting members, we were instructed to go out and evangelize, at which I had no problem doing, but each of us had to report how many were saved, and how many got prayer. I felt the people needed more than saying the sinners prayer. I was in school full time and worked full time, so in the latter I wasn't able to make the church services as often, I was accused of not keeping the sabbath day holy. Also there were no other ministries like( singles, children, etc) nothing but spiritual.

When I wrote a letter explaining that I was leaving, the leaders requested a meeting. I was told that I may be devoured by wolves because I no longer had a covering and the leaders said that they did not think I was making a good decision by leaving!

I am not a church hooper or any-ting like that, I love the true Body of Christ, but lately I don't want to join another church and churches only reach out to you if you or on their membership.

Am I wrong, I will give to ministries as God direct!

for example, most people in my church is married, but no spouses come, in fact, I know of three spouse that has left the church since I been there. Some of the Elders that has been there for years their wives don't come, one wife go to another church! One person got married, but her spouse goes to another church! I just want to know, does this sound like a healthy ministry? I am a single, been divorced for 2 and half years (wasn't living according to the will of God while I was married), but I don't understand, should I be alarmed, everybody acts like its ok!

internship which is two days a week 9-5 I have a full time job as a caregiver and I still have classes to attend, by the time sunday gets here, I am often tired, however I have a relationship with the Lord, I pray and I read my bible almost everyday, actually Im reading it in a year, im sure you all are familiar with that, the problem is this, I hear the hold thing about give God some of your time, but God is the reason why Im going into the career Im going into, Im trying to help people, and the Lord has really change my life, I like my life now, it is very structured, but when people say that about me it makes me not want to be apart of the church(not the body of Christ) but the church(institution) What are your comments on this?
