Well church traditionally charged 10% of the people's salary during the offerings. That's part of how the catholic church became so rich and powerful. Depending how you look at it's pretty cheap. You are paying for the closure and spiritual guidance. Which doesn't come cheap, but look at it on the bright side... it was 300 dollars to put my dog down and cremate him. Sure. That is probably cheap. Funerals are expensive.

You could buy the 200 dollar build your own church it at Home Depot but then you need to put it together yourself.

It isn't right. It isn't wrong. It just is. Your thinking may be that it is wrong but your thinking is not a fact it is a belief or an opinion. Another person may believe that it is appropriate or right. This is not to say that you are not entitled to your opinion.

Sometimes when we are emotionally upset or grieving we can project our feelings onto something else in order to try to avoid feeling the pain. I am not saying this is the case here.

I am a atheist but it is a very very sad thing when someone passes away I don't know if you should where about the money unless its over 1,000 dollars.
