I've installed various different drivers, used two PCs, two different cables...

It just won't print.

The computers both send the job to the printer, they spool then it quickly says printing... then the job disappears from the queue. But nothing prints...

The printer is a Zebra DA402 and the status indicator stays solid green like as if it doesn't actually receive a job at all.

How can I diagnose this?

I have a new graphics card, a nVidia GTS250. To start with, i installed the latest drivers but the game was really laggy. I uninstalled the driver and tried an older one, it was worse, i uninstalled again and installed a slightly newer one. To my suprise, it worked!

The problem is that when i uninstall the driver and reinstall driver 285.79 without restarting, the game runs perfectly, but when i restart or turn comp off and back on, the game runs crappy again.

To fix, i have to uninstall the driver, then reinstall it without restarting. I can then play the game without lag. When i restart the game goes really laggy and crappy again.

I dont get it!

Can anyone explain this weird behaviour?

My system isnt old. Its a quad core 3ghz cpu with 6gb ddr3.

For example;

The ball weighs 1kg

The cannon shoots the ball at a speed of 1m per second. (from release)

The cannon is pointing at a 45 degree angle.

I guess it will make a curve shape if drawn out. Im trying to understand how it works and how i can calculate the posistions on a graph.

Ok, when I was a kid, Mum and Dad bought me a telescope set which I had great fun with. After a while I got frustrated with the thing shaking when I was using it and I lost interest in it a little and stopped using it. However, there was one part of it which I was playing with and I noticed that it worked as a microscope! I want to know what that piece is called as I want to buy another one.

The piece was a 12cm long hollow cylinder with an eyepiece on one end and a clear plastic rim on the other end. When I pressed the plastic end onto something, it was focussed as a microscope. It was brilliant. I can't buy this think again because I don't know what it's called.

Hi everyone!

I recently built myself a nice new quad core AMD desktop and I also have 2 nVidia 9600gso graphics cards utilisting SLI. The problem is that I was using a cheapo 650W PSU which blew on me.

I dont mind too much as I paid £40 for this PSU 2 years ago. I kept it from my old PC and to be honest, it didnt really do such a great job anyway.

Anyway, basically, I need a new one now. The new PSU has got to have 4+4 for the mobo (which the old one didnt have) aswell as 2x6pin for sli. The thing is though, I dont understand rails, etc.

On nVidias website, its says that my card needs 105w to power it. So multiply that by 2 is 210w. I think my CPU is around 100w. I have no idea how much the mobo takes or needs. Also no idea how much the ram and hdd needs.

Apparently, its not about watts though, its about quality and also ampage. I know quality but i have no idea about ampage.

How many amps do i need? Do i get single rail? dual? Do i need ampage on both rails or just one? How many watts will i need? I have no idea how it works.

The mobo manual says to get a 1000w PSU but thats rediculous and I know people who have SLI running perfectly with nowhere near that kind of power.

Please could someone explain how it works?

The engine seems to 'puff', especially from the exhaust.

There is a white-ish gray vapour/smoke coming from the exhaust.

It smells very sweet and strong!

My car seems to lack power.

When I put my foot down, it makes the smoke worse.

There is some light grease underneath my heater inside my car.

The engine is red hot.

Please help! What is wrong with my car?

My car has never done this before but it started doing it just before. Thankfully, I was 10 minutes away from home when it started,so I don't think I've stressed it out too much.

Hi, I have just received notification that I'm able to buy a few hundred HBOS shares at 113.6p each. However, the current share price is 77p per share.

I don't understand the offer. To me, this is like going to any shop where i live. Say, throughout the UK, a Mars bar is 77p. I go to one city, and there are hundreds of shops which sell Mars bars for the standard 77p.

However, a manager comes out of one particular shop and says, hey, I will sell you a Mars bar for £1.13. The shop next door is exactly the same but sells them for 77p.

Surely, it cannot be that simple. Please can someone explain?

When someone clicks on a product, i need a details page to come up.

On the details page you can add more products to the shopping cart which also has a page.

Hello, The repeater shows loads of records. At the press of a linkbutton (in each record), I want to get the id of the record which the linkbutton has been clicked on.

I've spend hours trying to do this and I'm still no better off!

I can do this in the frontend using <%# Eval("id")%>. How can I pass this value to the backend? There seems to be no way to do it. When they click on a record, I need to get the id of that record into the codebehind. How can I do it?
