Why won't my Zebra label printer print?

Question

I've installed various different drivers, used two PCs, two different cables...

It just won't print.

The computers both send the job to the printer, they spool then it quickly says printing... then the job disappears from the queue. But nothing prints...

The printer is a Zebra DA402 and the status indicator stays solid green like as if it doesn't actually receive a job at all.

How can I diagnose this?

Seen this many times with the Zebra's and generally it is a driver issue.

Have you tried the Zebra Setup Utility? this can confirm if your printer is contactable first off. Link below.

All Epson R and RX series printers will print onto printable CD/DVD's. The opposite option is Lightscribe, but the DVD's you will have will not work with Lightscribe. Lightscribe, laser-etches the photograph/textual content onto the CD/DVD, but it is extremely steeply-priced, monochrome and time consuming (mine takes about half-hour). My Epson is speedy, colorful and more cost-effective then the Lightscribe. I tremendously advise the Epson over Lightscribe.
