Alll medical bills from heart attack, one voluntary repo on a lemon car. Regained health and now trying to repair my credit score. Hired an attorney that specializes in that. I thought he was gong to offer settlements with the smaller debts first, as that would seemingly raise my score quicker as the creditors remove those negatives. The attorney caled me yesterday and said he got a great offer on one of the medical bills that was for $10,000 settled for $3500. The problem is I just got back to work and do not have any money saved to pay that. They also want it in a week. The question is should I stick to the plan and get the smaller ones paid/removed, sell some possessions to pay the big one, use $300 that I do have and get a securededicated credit card thru my bank and but small purchases and immediately pay them off? Which is the quichest way to get my credit score higher. One of my biggest hopes is to have better credit in order to get a newer more reliable vehicle. It would seem best to get a settlement and pay the bad car debt to get that one removed first. Car dealers/banks I feel care less about medical debt, than seeing a car loan not paid. Am I correct in that assumption? Lastly, it's not very healthy for my heart but I'm really trying to get this all done faster by working 90-100 hours a week with 3 jobs. the question is what would be the best crossover and phase settings at receiver level and on the subs. my listening is 70% movies 30% music. I am hoping for a best setting (if possible) to just set it and leave it, without changing back and forth. the room is 12 X 30, 9ft ceilings. cement floor with tile. thanks in advance for any input. I am still learning lol.

hypothetical scenario: you have reached the age of 50. you have somehow been granted one wish to choose from these two possibilities. The first is two win a 100 million in the lottery. the second is to be able to go back to 18 and have the chance to live your life over (with the ability to know what you do now as an adult) my answer is the 2nd wish. as just money alone does not buy happiness. but the chance to go back and to prevent "the girl that got away" would mean the world to me. Which would you choose?

my onkyo receiver has 5 hdmi in ports and one out. T.V has 3 in, and cablebox has one out.I have one hdmi cable out from cablebox to tv. no problem. the question would be how do I get sound through my receiver if I want more sound than just the tv speakers when watching cable tv? I dont wish to just run the cable box hdmi out to the receiver because most of the time when im home to watch regular tv I have roommates sleeping and my audio system is too powerful, and at 4000 watts plus, will be too much draw on the electric bill for everyday use. would one solution be to just use the red,blue,green cables from cable to tv for just everyday use, and then use the hdmi out from cable to receiver for the occasional stereo sound be ok? if i do that am I just lowering the picture quality from true hd because of the co-ax cable connection, or does the hdmi source become the "master" in effect and override the RBG connection. I am just a little over my head here. if there were two hdmi outs on the cablebox it would be too easy but there is not. RATS!

I have been running a home theater system with 1,500 watts in amps. have had no problems til today. I still wanted more power for movies, so I bought a sunfire true signature sub (2700W) and for about 8-9 minutes at really high volume (I dont think the cat will ever come back home now) it was fine and then I heard a loud pop and all the power in my HT room went dead. at first I thought the whole house lost electricity, but it had not.I first unplugged everything, then when I got to the circuit breaker box it was just my ht room that had been tripped. I flipped the switch back to on, returned to the room and checked all my equipment. luckily nothing was blown. I did not dare to turn the audio system back on. I will wait til I hear from more knowledgeable people hear about this occurence before I proceed. I do have a fairly high end surge protector, and not every thing was plugged into the same outlet. the 1st question I would have is if it was too much wattage why did it not trip the breaker immediately? 2nd would be if I turn the system on again I would run the risk of blowing up some/all the pieces in the room right? (which is about $13,000) and I had to work many hours for a few years to be able to afford this system, so I really dont wish to blow anything, of course. so will it just trip the circuit breaker again? 3rd question would be what is the remedy? I dont wish to have to leave any of the subs off and not be able to play my system at the levels I like and have pieced together for the last few years. on a seperate note, if anybody wants to build a ht system, just go with an onkyo NR807, definitive technolgy BP7002's for mains, BP7006's for rears, CLR3000 center channel, and a sunfire true sub. while still remaining crystal clear. crisp mids/highs, and enough low end to make you believe homeland security is going to be knocking at your door with warrants very soon. thanks in advance for anybody that can help with my problem.

about 5 months ago a friend introduced me to a friend she had back in the phils. at first I thought it would be nothing more than an online penpal friendship, however we have fallen in love with each other. my friend explained to me the process as she knew it to be it six years ago when she was brought over. I was hoping to streamline it, and devised this plan: I would go to visit here and meet her family in march, and then return home. in april or may I would purchase her plane ticket for her, and she would just apply for a visitors visa to the U.S. which I think goes for 14 days. while she is here we get married and then only have to go about proving to the U.S Govt.that it is legitimate. instead of having to go through the red tape of both countries. my friend says there is almost no chance of it being this easy, she said something to the effect there is a 6 month process for her to even leave the country. I realize it will be best for me to sit down with an immigration attorney, but it is now the holiday weekend and I was hoping somebody here would know the ins and outs of my situation, thanks in advance for anybody that takes the time to help.

I had a pretty serious heart attack a year ago ( they run early in my moms side of the family) I am only 42, and otherwise very healthy all my life. never smoked, hardly ever drink alcohol, but because of working 2-3 jobs all the time, I ate way too much fast food. after 8 days in critical care my heart stabilized enough that the doctors took a chance on me and decided to perform open heart surgery, at first they were sure I would just die on the operating table. well its been over a year later, and I have returned to work, and even bodybuilding. people that see me now, make comments like, I wish I could look like you, after almost dying from a heart attack. except for the scar on my chest nobody would ever guess I had one. my question is, since I am still unmarried I am scared that when I do meet a woman, she would be scared off by the fact of my heart attack, I know it is not something that one just blurts out on a first date, but at some point I would have to be honest, as that is my character anyway. I know the most important things are the qualities of a person that matters most, but I have lived long enough to see that it does not always work out the way it should. I have been told quite a bit that I am very good looking, I know I have a very kind and passionate heart, I was self taught writing poetry that can give people tears, I make almost everyone laugh,I am most proud of my ability to just look into a girls eyes ( this hasnt happened too often as I am so picky) and let her know she is loved and cared for without saying a word. but I just cant get past the fear that when I meet a girl that I will have feelings for, as she gets to know me better she might just say to herself, " if I get to know this guy really well and fall for him, why just set myself up for loss, if he just dies. I know that none of us have guarantees of even one more day here on earth, but it might be more likely that I die from this weak heart, than most other guys walking around. so again, am I wrong on this?

at the start of and later in the song, the line of "step right up" is sung. I was very young in the 70's, but if I was to take a guess it sounds like smokey robinson, or maybe the stylistics. it is a slower love song. please answer asap.
