I use Tide powder. Cover the stain and spray it with a water bottle. Let it there and as it wears away so will the stain. You may have to repeat this a couple of times, but Tide is cheaper and probably safer than some of the other chemicals that you could use.

When I had a motor oil spill, I was advised to use a good dish soap, but that was a messy process. Then I thought to spread some cat litter on it. The litter got most of it, which I swept up, then grease cutter dish soap did the rest.

Auto Zone, home Depot, etc sell driveway cleaner. For fresh spills, just throw kitty litter on there, and wait a little while, then sweep away.

    Dry sweep.

That or spray some Simple Green on it and rub it in with a broom, and then spray it down with a hose.

Coca-Cola! I know this sounds weird, but even police officers use coca-cola to clean blood off of pavement and truck drivers use it to clean out their car engines! It's pretty corrosive stuff!

I wouldn't recomend painting it. A strong power washer would do the trick. A good one is a 3200 PSI power washer.

Check in an autoparts store. They sell something made specifically for that but I don't remember the name of it.
