Why or why not?

I'm a bassist and I need to record some riffs, licks, grooves, and whatever other bassist jargon I need to get my point across. I have like $30 to work with, obviously I'm not looking for anything fancy. I just need something to record stuff and I'm not very tech savvy, as it so happens. The last kind of personal recorder I've seen had a cassette in it, I don't really know the kinds of things that are available nowadays. If it's cheap and gives me a nice sound with the possibility to upload recordings to the net, awesome. If I can plug it in to my amp, even better. I just need something to record my stuff. Can you help me out?

Before I go any further, I would like for you to not try to further your cause of Christianity or atheism or whatever the hell else motivates you to be an asshole to strangers on the internet. That said, I'm not holding my breath. I have major depressive disorder and paranoid schizophrenia. I am usually happy and spiritual, I wish I could further elaborate, but I really don't know how at the moment (alexithymia, as they call it). But lately I've been really low and looking at things as though I'm just getting closer to death and a black oblivion with each passing day. I'm also frequently irate, what exactly that's a side effect of, I'm not sure. Is atheism (or more specifically, nihilism maybe?) a side effect of depression? I read somewhere that atheists are more prone to suicide than theists, so I wonder if in fact it might be that the depression that drove them to suicide caused them to be atheistic. I'm not a troll. I'm not sure why people think I am when I ask questions like this.

To deny service for one sinner, yet serve another sinner is discrimination. If you are going to deny service to homosexuals, you must also deny service to adulterers, blasphemers, divorcees, people with tattoos, people who work on Sunday, people who masturbate, etc. Good luck keeping your business afloat.

Enlisted servicemen make less than minimum wage. Why didnt they go to college so they could better themselves? It's not my problem they don't get paid much. When you have less than minimum education, and less than minimum skills, you deserve less than minimum wage. Why should my tax dollars go to such irresponsible people?

Is some stranger making money more important to you than the health and well being of your family? Your elected officials have repeatedly supported fracking and denied global warming. You know they care more about money than they care about the Earth, yet you still support them. Why?

In that event alone, 19 innocent people were wrongly hanged. Knowing that, how can people still be in favor of the death penalty? Even with the knowledge that just a SINGLE innocent person was executed, how can someone be in favor of it?

Isn't that the same as the government picking and choosing the winners of the market? For example, if the government makes a deal with Coke to put soda machines in government buildings, doesn't that give them a huge advantage over Pepsi since the contract won't allow them to do business with anyone other than Coke?
