Politics: Why do military servicemen refuse to better themselves?

Enlisted servicemen make less than minimum wage. Why didnt they go to college so they could better themselves? It's not my problem they don't get paid much. When you have less than minimum education, and less than minimum skills, you deserve less than minimum wage. Why should my tax dollars go to such irresponsible people?

    Many people define themselves as their job. Everyday, you'll see dozens of former military members walking around in fatigues, mumbling about their "good old days". When I left the Amy, I moved on immediately, but that was some time ago when former military wanted to become useful members of society.
