Conservatives: what's your solution?

This is not a conservative or liberal problem. It's everyones problem. It's a problem that will take cooperation from everyone and there is no one answer.

Better education, better background checks, getting illegal guns off the streets, we all know that outlawing guns for all citizens won't work. So what's your solution?

Empty the prisons of the non-violent criminals where there was no victim, like marijuana use. With the free time for police, courts and prisons created, we use those resources to fill up the prisons with violent criminals who do victimize others.

We actually also start prosecuting those who try and buy guns illegally and get caught.

Only 44 of those people were prosecuted, because law enforcement officials say it's a low-priority crime. Proving that someone intended to lie on a federal form is often difficult, they say, and sentences are usually light."

You don't care about kids. According to the CDC, more children die every year from swimming pools. Last I checked there wasn't a right to bear pools, so if you're really hard-up to save kids, ban the thing that kills more of them.

I may support the right for private citizens to own firearms, but at least I don't use the deaths of children as a bullshit political tactic to do something unconstitutional and inadvisable.

There are also 30000 deaths because of "medical accidents".

There are approximately 1.2 million cases of AID's.

There is an estimated 6 million missing children in the US alone- 2 million of whom are being sexually abused.

It seems to me that there are a lot of other things which should be higher on our national priority list then guns!

The thing is 90% of the gun problem is related to either drugs or sex- so if the desire is to solve the gun problem- then solve the drug problem and get every one to stop having sex on their minds all the time.

Better education so that people aren't desperate and in poverty their whole life. This is the main solution because most gun deaths are gang related and these gangs exist only in areas with institutionalized poverty due to the Democratic party protecting bad teachers in the inner city.

No, not nothing. How about doing something about the fact that only about 15% of Black males are living in a 2 parent home? Or about the fact that so many Blacks consider trying to get a good education as "acting White" and therefore a bad thing.

Tax cuts for rich people and corporations coupled with program and service cuts for everyone else. Same as their solution to every problem...

Enforce gun laws against gun criminals.

Legalize, tax, and regulate non genetically THC enhanced cannabis.

Long prison terms for illegal drug distribution.

Secure the borders.

Put criminals in prison for life. Rehabilitation of thugs doesn't work.

I'm sorry but what's the problem?
