... i'm not talking about "falling in lust" or just being after those little tummy aches that you have when you fall in love as a teenager... And i'm not talking about a crush or falling for someone.... What would you do if you were married (not happily married by the way...) and you fell in love for the first time after many years that you rejectetd to love in order not to be hurt and you fall and fall and fall like being in the air with no parachute and you hope to land in her arms...and are scared to death because you are legally bound to someone else... So people.... what would you do?!? Forget it, go for it, leave everything behind or what would you do....?!?!?

i am more than ashamed how uncivilized the human race can be when it comes to defend one's values. we all come from different places and realities, we all have our own point of views - but, unfortunately, we all forget that those point of views are our own and not THE truth, THE answer or THE way!!!

...I know this might sound silly as an italian - but I really have no clue, why italian supporters have chosen the music from " The White Stripes' " song 'Seven Nations Army' (taken from the album 'Elephant') to celebrate their victory. - As per the australians: we know that it was not a foul, but still it was an obstruction => check FIFA rules!!

- As per the americans: stop bashing italy and have a look at your 'honorable' bikers (Floyd Landis, Tour de France winner) and athletes (Justin Gatlin, Olympic and World Champion in the 100-meter sprint), both convicted of doping...

many people say that italians cheated and didn't deserve to win the world cup... a question to the guys that think that way: did italy use hormones or any other doping method to win? no - they used tactics!! so why blaming italy for tactics when tour-de-france winner floyd landis may have doped himself during leg 17 - let's wait for the results of the additional examination of the probe and get the party started in case he gets disqualified....

je suis italien et suis très heureux que l'italie est devenue le champion du monde pour la 4e fois, mais je doit dire, que j'ai honte pour materazzi...je m'excuse au nom de lui...et je n'irais jamais quitter d'aimer zizou, pour moi c'est le sport et pas la nation que compte...

football is one of the most beautiful team sports of the world, don't spoil it by lacking the ability to loose and the ability to win as well with dignity and grace!!

this is an italian fan saying this and i think that both teams had the game of their life and were excellent opponents!! i'm sorry by the way that germany lost, they are great football players (at least during tournaments, they lead the charts for reaching the semis 11 times!!). i will surely support them during the game in stuttgart as they organized this WC in a way no other nation did before and they still keep their motto, 'zuhause bei freunden' / 'at home with friends' alive!

...this is an appeal to all supporters of the italian team (i know it's not a question, so to all the other hypocrites: do yourself a favour and do not point that out to me...):

i, like many other supporters of the italian team (soccer_mind, Juventina, and dorian_gray, just to name a few), am very confident that italy can make it at least to the finals, i'm also confident that italy can win the WC 2006 - but if italy leaves the tournament not as the world champion, we should proove the ones that call us "divas", "actors", "cheaters" (or whatever negative comes out of their mind) wrong and loose with dignity and grace!!! it would be a shame, if we followed the u.s. and aussie example...

yesterday many people argued about italy's win - why do they start arguing about the french today??? how pathetic can you hypocrite guys be to argue about the spanish coach and be racists as well when you get so personal and angry about italy and france?! football is a game and the world cup is a tournament - may the best team win!! so stop being hyperintelligent with your match analyses european football will meet at the finals anyways - no matter if it's italy, france, germany or england!!!

why is it that especially those that have nothing to say when it comes to football/soccer (as it is not their major national sport) argue about a great team like italy now that they passed to QF? what did you expect from your teams?! to win the world cup?!? football is not only goals, it's also strategy and tactics!! italy might not have the nicest way to win, but they win and that is what counts!! would you aussie and american guys argue if the penalty-situation was the other way around?!

If expressing yourself in a racist way is within the definition of 'Free Speech' (which i personally doubt!!!) and it is tolerated by the U.S. government, who allowed (and still allows) skinheads, neu-nazi parties and the KKK, why do european countries that were involved in the holocaust (especially germany, austria and italy) still have to pay reparation to jewish people in the U.S.? When will the U.S. start paying reparation to native americans, afro-americans and americans from asian origin for extinction, slavery and inhumanity? What's going on in Guantanamo Bay?
