...this is an appeal to all supporters of the italian team (i know it's not a question, so to all the other hypocrites: do yourself a favour and do not point that out to me...):

i, like many other supporters of the italian team (soccer_mind, Juventina, and dorian_gray, just to name a few), am very confident that italy can make it at least to the finals, i'm also confident that italy can win the WC 2006 - but if italy leaves the tournament not as the world champion, we should proove the ones that call us "divas", "actors", "cheaters" (or whatever negative comes out of their mind) wrong and loose with dignity and grace!!! it would be a shame, if we followed the u.s. and aussie example...

You can be sure Italy will never win the World Cup while it lives in denial about accusations that it's team are "cheaters". Italy has degraded the once great game of footballl into a joke. No man would ever play the style of footbal Italy does, if he had any moral or sportsman like qualities. The sooner Italian teams realize they are playing for a Cup, and not an Oscar the better.

hah! they were lucky enough to play with both weak and/or less experienced teams up till now. i mean come on, ghana??! US? (ok they're good at other sports but not football/socces)..Czech? and although they were better than ghana, not this time anymore.

round of 18: australia did an extremely great job and if it wasn't for that diver's pretending (and YES IT WAS SO CLEAR!!!!), there was a big chance to have penalty kicks and in penalties u know that it has nothing to do with more experienced players cz it's 99% luck, 0.5% player skills, and 0.5% goalkeeper's skills.

quarter finals: Italy vs. Ukraine. wow can those italians be any luckier? that is red carpet to the semi's.

semi finals: oops u're stuck buddy..playing with either germany and argentina will get u out of the game. hard luck this time. the omen was broken, lol
