Just visited the german FIFA WC 2006 site...?
...and i must admit that the germans that post there are WORLD CHAMPS in loosing!! no bias, no blaming, no stereotyping ... they feel sorry that they've lost but they don't deny that italy was the better team ...
you hypocrites that argue and cannot loose should take an example!!
football is one of the most beautiful team sports of the world, don't spoil it by lacking the ability to loose and the ability to win as well with dignity and grace!!
this is an italian fan saying this and i think that both teams had the game of their life and were excellent opponents!! i'm sorry by the way that germany lost, they are great football players (at least during tournaments, they lead the charts for reaching the semis 11 times!!). i will surely support them during the game in stuttgart as they organized this WC in a way no other nation did before and they still keep their motto, 'zuhause bei freunden' / 'at home with friends' alive!

I agree - this was the best match in the Cup so far! Germans were great opponents for them. I stand in awe for today's game, very professional and very fast game for both. BOTH team's fans deserved such a great game, as well as the world who followed it. They delivered. I wish that Italian fans who deserved to be happy today after all criticism on Azzuri's account, could step up and celebrate it with more grace..

I SUPPORT YOU 100%!. Most Italian fans...actually all, until this point when I met you, are just incredibly disrespectful, ignorant, rude, and just childish. Winning and losing gratiously is perhaps the most important trait to possess in sports. Although I think Italy has been a bit, well, whimpy earlier in the tournament, their last two victories were good, solid wins, and I respect that. I dont like their style of play, but it works, and works well, and they know how to use thier skills to their advantages and minimize their weakpoints. I wont be rooting for them in the final, but wish them good luck.

Well Done! Well done! this is what i have been trying to tell some of the people who tormented the losing teams, Football is about the unity of our passions for the game. All the teams have tried their best and even losing gracefully, they represent their country with pride and dignity, Tormenting them when they lose is an insult. not only to the country they fought for, but to your own country aswell, because you <the people who torment other countries for their defeat> are also representing your country as fans,citizens, you insult other peolple, you insult yourself.

i agree the germans were great in organizing this worldcup and they really plyed well.i hope that they get the 3rd place.
i think they know how to lose coz they've tasted what it's like to win.and only a great winner can be a great loser!

They were obviously good sports about it, and that's the most beautiful thing about soccer, that it brings the world together the way nothing else can.
