I've recently started doing gigs with my band and I don't really have stage fright but I never know how to look at the audience without making fixed eye contact with someone.

I usually just stand perpendicular to the audiences view but I know that's not a good habit, especially if I want to perform solo.

How can I avoid this?

For the past week or so I've only gotten around 3 hours of sleep nightly and it's really starting to take it's toll. It takes me about 30 minutes to fall asleep (even though I'm very tired) and then I wake up a few hours later and cannot get back to sleep. It's weird because I subconsciously become aware of myself before I wake up (that's the best way I can explain it).

I used to get 8+ hours a night easily, nothing's changed in my life no additional stress or anything. I've even taken medicine to help me sleep but that's just overkill and makes me even more tired without helping me sleep.

I'm planning to visit my doctor soon but she's proven to be practically useless in the past so I'm not expecting much.

How do I fix this? I've had my laptop for about 3 years and it's never said anything about this.

I just downloaded my first "big" game (ARMA 2) off of STEAM and it runs ok on the lowest graphic setting, a little laggy, but tolerable. I plan to upgrade my graphic card but is that alone going to be enough to improve the performance? And what is the most common graphic card for these games?

I'm looking for a song by Focus. It was mostly instrumental but it had really fast yodeling at certain parts. I remember the main theme was an organ lead.

I have a fairly good technique when it comes to growling/screaming (none of that fry bullshit) but after a while I start to lose my range (mainly in the screams).

For instance, in singing along to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jecDFEfigoI) I can sound pretty much spot on until the final refrain where the screams are higher. I don't lose anything in my growls and I can still scream, just not with the same range.

Simple explanation: my voice sounds great but I lose range that I could easily access minutes earlier. It's almost like my voice breaks and I go into the "whisper" vocal mode.

The cd tray on my laptop is stuck in a slightly outward position. It pops out as far as it normally does when you push eject but it won't slide out any farther. I can move it from this position all the way in the laptop, but it won't catch and read the cd. I've tried the paperclip technique but getting it to pop out isn't the problem. I've tried pulling on it but that just ripped off the paneling (which I reattached).

I'm probably just going to take it to Best Buy but if I could find a DIY solution that would be much appreciated.

I have a lot of free time to listen to music today so I thought I'd try getting into one of my least favorite genres.

I'm already aware of most popular doom acts (Candlemass, Cathedral, Ahab, Cult of Luna) but I haven't listened to that one band that really grabs me.

I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop and it can never connect to any update sites whether it be for my antivirus or Windows itself. Every time I try to manually update my computer I click on the link to download and it says the connection has timed out. I've added the sites to my firewall allow list yet it still doesn't work.
