I started my computer and clicked on SonyVegas video editing software to open. While starting the program my computer crashed, saying there was a hardware problem. I shut my computer down and restarted to find that it wouldn't start without repairing the operating system. I did that to find that my two drives can't be found. They have question marks on the shortcuts and don't show up under MyComputer. Are they fried? It seems like my computer doesn't even think they exist anymore. Is there anyway to restore them, or get my data off? Thanks in advance for any help!

I can't change my Myspace pic!! I uploaded some pictures but I can't change it to my profile icon. I don't see an option- just tag-photo, edit, email, report, and print. Edit only lets me change the caption. Help!

I'm writing a story and need to kill a vampire in a creative and somewhat original way. Oh, and it is done by another vampire. She is the vampire's offspring and decides she is sick of being taken care of by her master and so she offs him. But how? I was thinking about throwing him out a window and then she attacks him and breaks his neck, but I don't know. Be creative, I am open to changing the vampire weaknesses. If it helps, the vampire that kills the other vampire is going to be my villain.

I am having trouble updating my computer. Everytime I try to install Microsoft Service Pack 2 or 3 it says Acess Denied when it is installing files. Also, when I try to install Windows Installer 3.1 I get a "Windows Installer Service Could not be Accessed" afterward. When I try to start it I have a 997 "Overlapped I/O operation".I think there is a conflict somehow. I've tried reregistering it, but I get "An event was unable to invoke any of the subscribers". I've tried EVERYTHING I can think of to fix this problem. HELP!

I was looking up Catholic history yesterday and came across Saint Cyril of Alexandria. I found out that he drew out the jews, smashed down churches, killed the prefect Orestes, and murdered an innocent philosopher named Hypatia. Okay, I understand that he was trying to "cleanse" the land and make it Christian, and he was trying to end the already chaotic conflict between groups, but this goes against Christ's teachings, doesn't it? Love thy neighbor, have peace, right? And this man is sainted and even gets a feast day. So, my question is, are there other saints or memorable Catholics who killed and rampaged the land also? I'm sure there are, but please tell me who they are and where I can read about them. Thanks!

And yes, we know about Naruto. We'll watch that sometime, but not now.

I am writing a fantasy story about a girl who uses a magic crystal. The problem that I have is that I have a detailed backstory that I want expressed. It is sort of like the Star Wars prologue of Anakin. I'd do it as a separate work, but I'm not sure if it is long enough for its own novel, or if it could even standalone because it doesn't have a real ending. I'd like to convey the story in flashbacks that my main character dreams. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to write this well?
