Need a story idea about Bad Decision?
Hi, I want to enter a writing contest. The criteria is that it is between 4000 and 8000 words and is about a bad decision. Could you help me by offering ideas? I was thinking about doing it about a hitchhiker, but I can't think of a good plot. Please give me anything you got, a list of bad decisions might even help. Thanks!

3. a country kid wants more for his life, but lets his family guilt trip him into staying in the country way of life
