What should I cook for my wife and myself tonight? When we get home we will be hungry and it shouldn't take long to prepare. Suggestions please!

After three weeks I gave in to temptation and lit a cigarette.

I got dizzy and it didn't taste good at all. Put it out when I was through half. Ever since, when I think about smoking, I just have to remember that awful experience to get rid of that devil called temptation.

I have read so often that certain people call themselves Atheists. I am getting the distinct feeling it means different things to different people.

Some say they do not believe in a god. Others, that they don't believe in any of the known and established faiths. Must someone meet certain criteria to even qualify as an Atheist?

I would like to hear from you, what you believe an Atheist is.....

On many occasions I have found their answers very good and had a profound background knowledge. Valuable indeed.

Lately I see TC's answers and am astounded at what they answer to perfectly normal questions.

Is a TC just someone that answers to a certain category very often, or can hisw answer be valued as a well meant and informed answer in that category?

I played a prank on my wife, telling her I would not get an extention on my Visa and would have to leave the country within a week.

She took me to the Pub to have a pint and think about what to do next. That's when I told her the truth. Was really fun!

I am not looking for anything scary. Just want to play a nice little prank on my wife.

In the last decades there has been a surge toward islamic belief. I wonder why. To me it is a religion like any other. Seeing all the islamic fundamentalists definitely does not add to its attraction. At least not to me.

I am told, the earth's core is magnetized. Everything will be attracted to it, because the movement is like a giant Dynamo. Shouldn't we be glowing instead of being attracted?

Before my wife came home from a company function I had posted a question on Y!A to test the members on this site. Unfortunately she did not agree with my humour, when shown my question. Immediately she demanded to know with which woman I spent my time during her absence.

Why does she not believe I was on Y!A the whole time?

I recently moved into a flat and found my neighborhood in the dire need of more spirituality. Being a good neighbour and christian I went next door to introduce myself. A beautiful young lady opened the door and received my full attention. After introducing myself I concentrated on the scriptures I was so very fond of. Starting with the ten commandments, I put heavy emphasis on loving my neighbour. The lesson was fully understood by this good christian until her husband walked into our Bible lesson. It seems he is an atheist and did not appreciate my biblical approaches at all. He rudely interrupted the session and threatened to kill me if he ever saw me with his wife again.

What should I do? I feel a duty towards his wife's soul, but feel an urge to continue spreading the word of God.

Where would that be?

Today we will celebrate St.Patrick`s Day in Ireland and around the world.Everyone is happy and has a good time.

St.Patrick died on a 17th of March. Shouldn`t we rather be sad? Why are most people not?

now that I have reached Level 3 ? I still feel the same,yet I am a little sad. I reached my goal of level 3 by answering a question from Sir Marmalade Beauville-Lobe IV. He has cheered me up on many occasions, but must have been eliminated from this fine network by people not able to appreciate a fine mind.

I am glad to be able to welcome him back to this site. You too?
