2 AntwortenPoliticsvor 6 Jahrentime to repossess d.c.?
is it time to sell air force one and all the furniture in the white house to help pay off their debt? they keep on saying social security, which we have been paying into may be in trouble. but abra kadabra their government pensions are secure. how does that happen? some government employees have been getting matching funds, up to 5% of their pay, for their retirement. but the government has been losing money. what kind of business does that?
1 AntwortCurrent Eventsvor 9 Jahrenwhen are they going to do away with dhs?
the department of human services has no business pulling the weight of human services. that is the job of the churches.
there is a story in the bible about a landlord who let some folks sharecrop his land, but when he sent people to collect the rent they would beat up his representative. finally he sent his son and they killed him.
that's kind of how i see the department of human services. we are paying people to take care of the sick and homeless and parentless, but we tell them they must maintain a separation of church and state. Fine! get out of the kitchen then and let the churches take care of these people.
let the government dole out the $$ once earmarked for foodstamps and make the churches accout for every penny and every ss# reciever.
i am told there are still kids who do not even have foster parents, except for the u.s. or state governments. my gosh, if you look in the news you can see what a bad deal that could turn into.
this health care deal doesn't seem like a real brainer either. if there is not enough health care, then get more doctors, nurses, pharmacists and education. insurance companies don't make people feel better health care providers do (sometimes). all these $$ that are going to the overseeing of dhs could be used as tuition for above average gpa students in the medical field. and they could repay their student loan credits by working in free clinics a certain number of days per month until it is repayed.
if this made sense to you, talk it up, and make it happen. if they want the government to be separate from God, tell the goverment to get out of the churches business. close the dhs.
2 AntwortenOther - Politics & Governmentvor 9 Jahrenfor the sake of honor, did senators and house of representatives cut back on staff to reflect what they did to?
the country's non-government employees? they talk about cutting budgets across the board but does that mean their support staff as well?
2 AntwortenGovernmentvor 9 Jahrenhow do the 1/3 of american workers(overly generous portion credited)?
who are unionized, earn the authority to call the other 2/3 of american workers scabs? it seems in a democracy that the 1/3 should be the outsiders and not the 2/3.

science says that it does not make a sound. by that logic wouldn't that mean they believe that God must have heard the big BANG?
6 AntwortenMythology & Folklorevor 10 Jahrenin the move to ipads, why can't the teachers of larger school systems?
work together to write their own school systems text books and never buy textbooks again? they are college graduates for goodness sakes and they are certified to teach at their particular grade level.
it would only take a few months for each teacher to write their chapter, they would then send their papers to their department heads and then to the board for final approval. then they could load it into the students ipads.
tests could be given electronically and graded automatically. if a student gives a wrong answer the computer would write the page number the correct answer could be found on. this would free up the teacher to give them more time to teach and less time on grunt work.
i have been told that text books for each class can be anywhere from 50 to 75 dollars each it seems this system would save money in the long run.
2 AntwortenPrimary & Secondary Educationvor 10 Jahrenshould we be matching govt retirement payments when the govt is losing so much money?
i don't mind them paying into social security and earning benefits that way, but until they balance the budget they need to cut about 1/2 the congressional aides, each congressman gets at least 14 aides, and no more matching payments for their 401k. if they were a real company they would have to make the cuts. they are not rulers, they are representatives. shouldn't they be held accountable?
1 AntwortGovernmentvor 10 Jahrenmissed several tna's is slick rick still in the mix?
slick rick is a national treasure and should be on a rasslin show as long as he wants to be. as a rasslin show actor and stuntman he was always up to some hijinx. can someone tell me if he is still well and causin problems for somebody?
3 AntwortenWrestlingvor 10 Jahrenhow much money could the government save?
if they let the churches administer certain social programs? i'm all for food stamps if people need them but i think they should have "In God we Trust" printed on them. As they are printed it is implied that our trust is in the government.
5 AntwortenCivic Participationvor 1 Jahrzehntwhen are we going to start voting?
on our computers? the politicians could put up new questions each month, registered voters could research the questions and login and vote when they are ready. if you don't own a computer you could use one at the public library.

1 AntwortGovernmentvor 1 Jahrzehnthow can food stamp cards be real u.s. tender?
it doesn't say 'in God we trust' on it. does that mean that users of the cards are to assume that 'in socialism we trust' or 'in communism we trust'?
1 AntwortGovernmentvor 1 Jahrzehntwhat's up with bling?
who benefits when rappers and athletes buy bling. sure they may look cool to some, but where does the money trail go? does it enrich the community they came from? do they get it mail order direct from africa to support them? does it go to a bunch of rich white guys who own the rights to the minerals and then have it made in a third world country so they can get it made for just a few cents, and then sell it to them for a HUGE markup?
snoop once talked about a snoop-mart. how's that coming? with all the money these athletes and rappers are making you would think they could invest it in their community and turn their riches into wealth.
1 AntwortCelebritiesvor 1 Jahrzehntwhy did they try someone for praying for their child?
on court t.v. they tried a couple for not taking their child to the doctor but praying for him instead. but on a commercial on another station it says that medical malpractice kills more people each year than breast cancer and two other ailments. and there is a commercial that says if this drug does not cure your depression it may give you increased thoughts of suicide. and another one says do not stop using our drug with out doctor supervision because it may cause increased chance for death.
so why are they trying parents for praying? todays medicine has such a good track record?
