should we be matching govt retirement payments when the govt is losing so much money?
i don't mind them paying into social security and earning benefits that way, but until they balance the budget they need to cut about 1/2 the congressional aides,each congressman gets at least 14 aides, and no more matching payments for their 401k. if they were a real company they would have to make the cuts. they are not rulers, they are representatives. shouldn't they be held accountable?

What about Congress and the Senate? They should be living on social security but they get their FULL SALARY FOR LIFE after serving just one term (Senate) and three terms (Congress).. Plus they have a special health Plan. They voted this for themselves.
