The amendments he made to Executive Order 12425 gives Interpol the right to operate in the US without oversight and without being subject to our Constitution or the FBI. Interpol is also not subject to the Freedom of Information Act for actions taken on American soil with the changes made by Obama. Have we lost our Sovereignty? Will international law now make US citizens subject to arrest without benefit of a warrant? Can Interpol now make searches and seizure of private property without a warrant? Why would Obama do such a thing? Where will this lead us?

A friend of mine was laid off work. He has always paid his bills until he was laid off work. Now the bill collectors are threatening all kinds of things including garnishing his unemployment benefits. Is this legal? He does not want to file bankruptcy and really wants to pay his bills but until he finds work, he has to choose between buying his medications and food and paying creditors. I have advised him to call an attorney but he can't afford an attorney either.

With hate crimes legislation and the need to be "politically correct", could we someday face these types of restrictions?

It seems that the Democrats and the Republicans have led us into near bankruptcy and more and more forget the working people who put them in power. Is there a possibility of a viable 3rd party gaining power in our country? Could they ever get a Presidential Candidate elected?

I am interested in knowing if you think it is possible and are there any 3rd political parties that you support and if so why? This is a serious question and I hope folks will give me some factual information as well as their personal opinions. I appreciate you answering this question.

It seems extreme liberals are eager to label preachers as promoting hate speech if they say homosexuality is morally wrong but it is somehow okay to attack and bully little old ladies or employees of businesses who donated to Prop 8. Please tell me how that is not a hate crime?

This is America and we have a right to express an opinion in a non-violent manner unless of course you are a Christian or a conservative who believes homosexuality is a sin. If that is the case, you are "filled with hate and a bigot". You can be a liberal-Christian and promote homosexuality. That is approved of by the extreme liberals. And now it would seem that it is now okay to attack anyone who thinks homosexuality is a sin even if they are 68 years old. Of course, we all know attacking 68 year old ladies has nothing to do with a hate crime against Christians.

Who is really filled with hate? The people who are acting within the law and exercising their right to sign petitions, donate to campaigns and vote or the people who are destroying property and attacking little old ladies?

Girls, do you talk about how attractive other guys are when you are with your bf/husband? Do you mention how great their butts are or how sexy their bodies look around your husband/bf?

I realize all of us see attractive members of the opposite sex and think about how sexy they look, but I was always taught to be considerate of my partner and not talk about other guys when I was with them. So why do guys do this? Guys/girls, how do you feel about it when your spouse/gf/bf does this? Does it bother you or do you just ignore it?

How do you feel about it when yiour partner wants you to look at a nude or semi-nude photo of the opposite sex that they think is attractive? Maybe I am wrong but I feel like he has no respect for me or my feelings. What if they do this in spite of the fact that you have indicated it offends you? Am I just being too sensitive?

It seemed very strange to me at the time that Obama found a way to beat Hillary. I still to this day believe if the Primaries had been conducted fairly that Hillary would be running against McCain. Is this the way we want our Presidents to be chosen in America? We are starting to sound like a third world nation with dictators fixing the elections.

I am not Catholic but I have great respect for the Catholic Church. If you are Catholic, does this concern you? If you are not a Catholic but are a Christian, how do you feel about the things being said about the Democratic Party being the party of death? If you are not a Christian but you respect the Catholic Church, are you concerned about these comments?

Please note, I was raised in a Democratic family who was committed to the blue collar workers and unions. It was only after the Democratic Party became so polarized and taken over by ultra liberals that I reluctantly changed my party to be Republican. I deeply wish we had a third party that was moderate and more middle of the road. I think McCain is the closest we have come in years to having someone who will not be influenced by strict party lines. He had even considered becoming a Democrat at one time because of the things he could not support in the Republican party.

Anyway, I have done much soul-searching and want to know what Catholics and those who are not Catholic think about these comments.

If so, why? If not, why? With all the scrutiny of the press, the future of our country and others at stake, with the responsibility of making decisions that you know will cost lives, would you want to be President? Would you be up to the task? Do you trust yourself with that kind of responsibility? Could you handle the constant criticism on the news every night? Could you cope with never being truly alone and knowing at any given moment you might be interrupted with another crisis? How would you cope with making a decision that you know will be unpopular but necessary even so? We all joke about the President and many have forgotten (or maybe simply do not know) the reality of being responsible to the people of the United States of America and our commitment to the world in general. Would you want to be President?
