In the 70's when I did quite a bit of photography all filters etc stated they had a "Leica" screw or bayonet fit, these days they don't seem to state the "fit" so have they standardised it now or will a filter that fits a eg Nikon, Yashica, Kodak. not fit a Cannon for example! Or will they. We have a 58mm lens on a cannon E1000D

English is said to be be the most difficult language in the world. I know this is a bit "Anorak.ish" but why can we compound "Good" and "night" to make goodnight but not "good" and "morning" to goodmorning?

Peugeot 106 1.5 ltr.Diesel... I think maybe 2 of the glow plugs are not working is there a way you can test them yourself without going to a garage?

There are 2 pan connectors between the pan and the solid outlet pipe and it seems to be leaking from there, any answers please? eg can I just turn them a bit? I would love to have a go but do not want to make the situation worse. Thank you all!

The other night (7:45pm) I noticed a plane coming into land at Manchester Airport and it's landing lights kept flashing on and off a approx. 2 second intervals. I am ex RAF and I have no idea what this could be, is there anyone out there who might know. It was a regular "flashing" and lasted for a minute (my range of sight) it was an aeroplane and not a UFO!!

There is fuel in!! The strange thing about this fault is we own 2 106's both "S" reg and the fuel gauges failed within 10 days of each other!! Conspiracy theories not needed thanks, just help!! Thanks in advance. Andy

Boris Johnson was right!! I was Hi-Jacked at knife point by scousers. The tickets for the FA Cup Final against West Ham were stolen by scousers, the stolen tickets were bought by scouser and who moaned because the tickets would not be replaced? Scousers!! HEYSAL, SHEFFIELD!! it seems that ill fortune follows scousers or are they the winging problem?? The poor lad Rhys Jones was shot by a scouser and his killer is known by scousers. so why do they think the world is against them? COME ON YOU LIVERPOOL people do summat right for once.
