  • What is probably causing chest pain when I run?

I can roller blade for 5 straight hours, and I won't get out of breath or have any chest pain. I can ride for 50 miles on my bike. I get no pain. Why then, if I run or jog farther than 100 meters, do I get so out of breath and have chest pain? It only happens when I run. One time, I ran after a loose dog for 5 minutes straight and it took me at least 20 minutes to stop wheezing. When I did breathe, it felt like my heart was in my throat. Last time I tried jogging, I made myself do it for a mile. I never stopped but it seemed like my chest got really tight and I was really out of breath and jogging slow. I didn't know if I wasn't breathing deep enough or what. Sometimes, while exercising, if I'm not careful I will catch myself holding my breath. I don't think I hold my breath any when I'm running. Usually, I'm gasping.

  • if i get "cross talk", is it possible that I am getting my neighbors bill added to my phone account too?

Okay, so I was getting cross talk a couple of months ago with my old cordless. After hearing my neighbor apply for a loan, I was able to figure out who it was and just thought he must have the same cordless frequency as me. So, I got a new cordless. I stopped hearing him, but ever since then I keep getting strange calls. One number turned out to be a collection company and they asked for a person with the same name as the one I heard applying for a loan. This bothered me, so I went online and then noticed I've had an extra charge on my phone account that started about the same time as all of this. If the debt collectors have my number, and are asking for Stephen. If I was able to hear his complete conversations. ...is it then possible this extra charge actually belongs to him too? I hope so...maybe I'll be able to get the money back. I know I didn't authorize any other charges to be take from my phone bill. What else would cause this? Is it possible he's tapped into my line some how?

  • Why don't large corporations understand that employed people are consumers?

It seems a little non-sensical to believe that laying people off will increase consumer spending. Isn't it time to stop adding kindling to the fire? One random check isn't going to be enough to refire the economy. $500 isn't enough. What these people need is a regular paycheck. Another thing, why does the government encourage staying on unemployment? Consider that, for many, it is financially easier to collect unemployment than to take a job at McDonalds which would be productive but not enough to pay the bills. I think allowing partial unemployment would be smarter. At least people could contribute without taking more of a financial loss.

  • I think football OT should go on for a full quarter. Does anyone else agree?

Instead of relying on a team's knowledge of probability of a coin toss, why not let it be about which team is overall better? By giving both teams' offense and the defense a crack at the ball, I think it would be more fair. Basically, I think whoever wins the coin toss has an unfair advantage. Plus, it's another quarter of football that the fans get to enjoy. I mean, we wouldn't end a tied baseball game with the first person to slide home. Why do we do this with football?
