can I become a marine officer from the army?
currently enlisted to go into the army next month and honestly from what I've been in it has seemed incredibly unprofessional and rather weak. I planned on going into ROTC directly after my bct/ait could I do a marine ROTC and become a marine officer instead of an army officer or could I switch in between branches without waiting for my whole 8 year contract to expire?

If you are active duty, you won't be going into ROTC after basic and AIT. You must be National Guard or Reserve. Go ahead with the NROTC, Marine Option. You can do it for the first two years.

huh, you are not gonna be in rotc after ait, your gonna be working in the army
2, if your talking reserves, you cannot be in both nrotc and the reserves at the same time
