Yes, most firms pay your wages into your bank account, if you don't have a bank account you won't be able to get paid.

Yes if your employer won't pay you in cash, but most won't because it's expensive getting cash from the bank, safeguarding it and so on. Safer and cheaper all round to pay you by BACS transfer, where it just goes straight into your bank account. But of course you need an account for that.

You only need a bank account if your employer is going to pay your wages directly into a bank account. If he is going to pay you in cash you don't need any bank account.

Not necessarily, but most employers insist on it. At one time, it was the fashion for weekly paid workers to be paid in cash. However, that means someone has to come back from the bank with the payroll, making them an ideal target for muggers.

Yes, because you need to be paid!
No employer will pay in cash or cheque anymore. You need a bank account for your direct debit payments.

If your employer only pays via direct deposit then yes. Otherwise there are debit cards you paycheck can be loaded on.
A bank account is best

Find a job. Then, make money.
You'll see a need for a checking account eventually.
Once you get bills you'll want a bank.

Only if you don't want to pay some scalper 20% of your pay just to cash your check. There still are a lot of companies that pay by check and many don't do direct deposit.
