Military decision help? (more info)?
Okay so I'm thinking about going into the service. I wanna do something hands on like working on vehicles or heavy machinery work or working on heavy machinery or planes or really anything like that. What are a few things I can look into? -- I plan on using the money I earn after I get out to go to college and earn a degree because my family isn't the wealthiest by any means. I'm pretty confident about my score I'll get on the test to determine where I'll go. I think it'd be cool to go out and work on tanks or jets, that would be my goal I guess. So what websites could I use for research to compare and contrast my options?

All the Services have heavy equipment operators and mechanics.
You don;t need to use any money for college after you get out, as we have the Post 9/11 GI Bill that pays for every thing, plus a monthly living stipend.
You need to go speak to all five Recruiters and let them sell yo on their Service.

Talk with a recruiter the Marine Corps offers heavy equipment engineer, tank engineer, air craft engineer and many more as does most military branches. Go to a recruiting office tell them what you are interested in and they can help you.
