What's a good way to condition myself for joining the Marine Corps in a few years?
I'm 16, graduating in 2014, and I plan on either enlisting in the Marine Corps, going through ROTC, or, if I'm lucky, smart enough, and my congresswoman sees enough potential and commitment, go to the United States Naval Academy. I run track as a sprinter (100m, 200m, 400m) and during the off season I am running usually jog about a half mile, sprint a quarter/5th, and then finish it off with jogging another Half mile, I also do dynamics (jumping jacks, squats, high knees, butt kickers, A-skips, high skips, Push ups, etc. etc. etc. and I swim during the summer as well, I am 6'5" or 6'6" and around 123-125 lbs, What would be a good workout idea for me to condition myself during the next 2-3 years for when I enlist/ join ROTC/go to academy?
Uh, I'm 5'5" 5'6", not 6

I remember my Marine friend doing lots of endurance stuff...long hikes, in heat, carrying heavy stuff...but don't do this kind of thing unsupervised or without an approved plan.

Your in good shape but get some more meat on your bones not a lot though. And you must score at least a 30 on the SAT or ACT for the academy and if you want to join the academy don't go into infantry the marines and navy don't want someone in the academy to just be regular and even if you get in you have to much potential to just get Infantry do a specialization like Doctor, pilot but if you want to be a doctor you must be a Navy Corpsman
