We're both 1-2 months from being 17. We're juniors and have known each other since 6th grade and are extremely good friends. I think I've fallen in love with her, but whenever I try to ask her out my brain just shuts it out until i forget to ask her, my heart pounds when I am around her and I either can't stop looking at her or can't keep looking at her when we make eye contact

I really really like a girl on my cross country team, and I want to ask her out, but I have no idea what the heck to plan as a date. We're both 16, going into our Junior year. I was thinking maybe like a medium-priced "Casual" dining restaurant, like Olive Garden, Red Lobster, or Applebee's but I'm open to any suggestions cause I still have no idea what a good idea would be. I don't want a traditional movie date, so any ideas?

I am doing research and whatnot into the different military forces which I might join. I am considering going into NROTC or if possible, the USNA. My plans consist of either going from NROTC (Through a chemical engineering program) into the USMC in either an Infantry Officer MOS or a CRBN Officer MOS, or going to college for Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical engineering, and going in to the Navy in an EOD Officer MOS. Outside of this, I also have a small nagging feeling in the back of my subconscious that makes me want to fly, so I am also considering going to college for Aerospace Engineering and going through ROTC or OCS and then flight school to be in a pilot MOS in either Unit, presumably for an F-35 or F/A-18E/F role. Another small nagging feeling in the back of my subconscious is having me consider going to college and specializing for an MOS in the Army that would involve working with Artillery...

What are the Pro/Cons for each of these possibilities and which in your eyes would be better?

I'm a sprinter and I read that XC helps sprinting but Me and some of my friends are skeptical are there ant statistics that can help or hurt this stance

I use a mac and I use Garageband '11 to edit music and whatnot... I need a good, comparatively cheap microphone that I can hook into my computer and record on for a cover of a country song I plan on doing for youtube...

Ok, there's a girl that I'm really good friends with, like, to the point that we'd do anything to help the other if one or both Of us had something bad going on in our life. I'm 16, graduating in 2014, and I plan on either enlisting in the Marine Corps, going through ROTC, or, if I'm lucky, smart enough, and my congresswoman sees enough potential and commitment, go to the United States Naval Academy. I run track as a sprinter (100m, 200m, 400m) and during the off season I am running usually jog about a half mile, sprint a quarter/5th, and then finish it off with jogging another Half mile, I also do dynamics (jumping jacks, squats, high knees, butt kickers, A-skips, high skips, Push ups, etc. etc. etc. and I swim during the summer as well, I am 6'5" or 6'6" and around 123-125 lbs, What would be a good workout idea for me to condition myself during the next 2-3 years for when I enlist/ join ROTC/go to academy?
