Head to Head: 5'6" well trained marine soldier vs. a 6'6" brute force club bouncer.?

i would put my money on the marine because he is trained to kill also marines train in MCMAP or marine corps martial arts so they do know how to fight.

also a 5'6'' marine will be a lot smaller and faster all he has to is use technique and speed. the bouncer probably has no technique.

A "well trained" marine does not necessarily mean he excels at hand to hand combat

ok by your new hypothetical, definitely the Marine, he will be trained to take down guys like the bouncer, while the bouncer will just be relying on brute strength and not technique or strategy.

Combatatives are not trained in enough to be useful.

plus, your forgetting the fact that a Bouncer, is in weekly fights, so while he may not have formal training, he has real world experience, that far better than any formal training you can get.

If you lived around a military base, you'd realize that soldiers and marines get their butt kicked in fights, just as often as anyone else does.

The marine should win depending on whether he actually gets trained in unarmed combat.

The brute force club bouncer might only know how to do take downs and mostly non-lethal moves as he doesn't need to kill anybody on the job.

However, a well-trained marine is expected to be proficient at incapacitating and even killing people in unarmed combat assuming that he was trained to handle enemies bigger than him and if he was ever trained to fight unarmed at all.

Fighting is based on experience...and even a guy with minimal training but an a$$ load of experience in fighting will generally win.

So i'd put my money on the dude with the most experience which more than likely would be the bouncer.
