Is it true that it is considered a sin in Catholicism, to be superstitious?

If so, isn't that a bit ironic?

I'm a 37 year old guy, heterosexual, or so I thought.

I've just come out of a 14 year relationship, and I couldn't be happier. I was looking forward to single life again, but I don't know what it is that I want.

When I was a teenager, I had several gay encounters. It was really just experimenting, and even then I new I was straight. I enjoyed my experiences, but I was sure i preferred girls over men any time. But now I'm single again, I find myself wanting another gay experience. I'm looking at gay porn more, and girls don't interest me so much. But i'm still certain that I'm not actually gay, The idea of having anything more than a one night stand with a guy does not even begin to appeal to me.

I suppose my question is, Is it a good idea to go to a gay club or bar, and see what bites? It wouldn't be anything more than casual sex, so I'm not sure if it's fair on the guys who are looking for something more. I'm not even sure I would actually go through with anything if it came to it.

I don't just mean about the existence or otherwise of God, although if you are an atheist like myself that is the only question, I mean, have you ever considered the possibility that you have picked the wrong religion? There are so many Gods to choose from, and many different ways to worship him/her/it, I don't see how anyone could be 100% sure of their position.

What if you die, get to Heaven and then find out that you should have been praying five times a day facing Mecca, or sacrificing virgins, or not eating pork, or one of countless other things various religions have said you must do. God would be pretty pissed at you, don't you think

Before anyone asks, yes, I have considered the possibility I may be wrong, although I'm now 99.9999% certain that there is no God.

Righto, I have many many hours of mostly dull family home videos on VHS, and I need a way to copy them all to DVD with minimum cost outlay.

I have a VCR, and a DVDR drive in my PC. What is a simple way of connecting them together. The VCR only has SCART and RF outputs as far as I am aware.

I really don't want to spend much money doing this, as I need all my cash for booze.

We are forever being told that the Apollo moon landings had to be faked because it was impossible for the astronauts to pass through the Van Allen belts.

I would like answers from the hoax believers to the following questions-

1- What types of radiation are found in the Van Allen belts?

2- What dosage could an astronaut expect to receive passing through the Van Allen belts?

3- What physical effects could the astronaut expect from this dosage?

4- What would be required to shield the astronaut from this radiation?

5- what effect would this radiation have on the electronics onboard the spacecraft?

Please, no answers from people who accept the Apollo missions as true, as I do myself. I am just interested in the views of the hoax believers. Feel free to comment on the other answers though.
