I've got an iPod and previously used my ex's itunes account. Since we've split im looking to get the internet for my computer at my new place, but am unsure if I will be able to access itunes.

To this day these seem to be areas of strong conservatism which can be seen in the reaction toward women and (especially) men who do not conform to their prescribed gender rols, and in the ongoing limitation on the rights of Lesbian, gay and bisexual people. Why does this obsession of maintaining the 'status quo' persist, when freeing society up around LGBTI issues does not limit the rights of anyone?

That is political parties formed around queer theory and queer politics with the aim of supporting the rights of the LGBTI community in a unified and focused manner rather than gaining representation from social-left parties with other agendas?

Could this be a way to inject a clear and focused political influence to truely support the LGBTI community? This approach has been done to great effect amongst other groups such as christian people (eg Family First Party from Australia), why should we not form our own party rather than seeking political alliances with parties that have other agendas?

Is anyone else tired of the continual use of the word 'homosexual' to describe people? It is old language that I find to be very clinical, and just a bit pathological. Do you agree that 'gay' is more appropriate in referrence to people reserving 'homosexual' for discussing sexual orientation in isolation?

I recently heard that there are companies now making cosmetics (not skin creams ect, actual cosmetics) for guys. Have you heard of this? Are us guys getting pretty now? What do you think of this trend?

I have often had bible passages quoted at me as proof of God's existance. Always seems odd as an Athiest such books have not been proven true in any accurate sense of the word to my knowledge. How are the claims of such books held to account such that they can constitute proof?

From my understanding, the ark supposedly held a single pair of every species of animal on the face of the earth to save them from a giant flood.

If this was so,

1) how big was it?

2) how did the plants survive?

3) why is it that animals are not suffering the severe consequences of severe in-breeding?

Perhaps my understanding of this aspect of christianity is incorrect, I only have limited knowledge.
