    Like fores repel, unlike forces attract. The simple hydrogen atom has one proton and one electron, why does the electron buzz around the proton, a relatively great distance from the proton, the charges are equal and opposite. Why does the electron not collide with the proton?

    The General Theory of Relativity states that a massive body warps space around it, and light will follow the curved space. This has been proved in a 1919 experiment. The question is. What is being warped? A black hole can be formed from a star with a mass more than 3.2 times the mass of our sun. However, a black hole has an event horizon; the star that it formed from had no such feature. If the total mass of that star ended up in a black hole the force of gravity should be no stronger in the black hole because the mass remains the same. The one thing that these objects have in common is a gravitational field, the thing that makes them different is, size. This suggests to me that in the case of the black hole the gravitational field is what is warped much more severely because of the close proximity of the field to the tiny point of gravity. All light that enters this area follows the compressed gravitational field; it can’t enter the mass of the black hole because light has no mass. This suggests that gravity is the universal conductor of light. Gravity does not propagate in a wave, or particle form; it fans out in a decreasing force field of attraction to mass, much like the static pressure of an atmosphere but without the limitations of the height of an atmosphere. Without gravitational fields light could not advance through space.

  • Do you want proof that something can move faster than light?

    Set up a laser on a shaft that rotates 3600 rpm. On a night when there is a cloud layer with a ceiling of 1000 feet rotate the laser a full 180 degrees. The spot from the laser, on the cloud base, will travel from horizon to horizon at a speed greater than than that of light. This a mathematical certainty. Explain why this possible and no laws of nature are violated.

    I have decided to quit this program, I am tired of the repetitive questions and the endless breaks. The leader boards have not been upgraded for six weeks. Reaching level seven was satisfying, but what is the point?

    Is it just me? I spend twenty minutes typing an answer and when I try to post it it I am informed the site is taking a breather. The leader boards have not been updated for a month, trying to get a satisfactory answer from anyone, as to what the problem, is an exercise in futility. I am thinking of taking a permanent break from this site.

    Is this possible?

    A chemical genius develops a way to collect the exhaust of a rocket motor and herd them into precisely sized chambers by using electrical fields to guide the electrons and protons, the neutral neutrons are led into a separate chamber, the collecting is done by a nozzle which has no detrimental effect on the thrust of the rocket. The particles are reinserted into the rocket in the precise amounts as they appeared in the original fuel, the rocket motor sees this as new fuel and burns it as such, the motor creates a thrust of one g, providing artificial gravity for an indefinite span of time, a space ship fitted with this device can reach speeds of millions of miles per hour in space, and need no extra fuel.

    I posed the question earlier but did not include the description. He is a stranger who wanders into a homestead..

    'Buck was fascinated by the stranger; he had never seen the kind of clothing the man was wearing. His shirt, although stained with sweat, looked very fine, the collar was high and stiff, under a jacket that curved towards the back and ended in stubby tails. Under the jacket was a multi buttoned vest. The vest had six pockets; all kinds of stuff could be tucked into them. The vest’s edges were trimmed with black satin. His trousers were of the same material as the jacket, they were very tight fitting, and had narrow cuffs that just clung to the fancy, black boots below. Above the stiff collar was a round face, there was no chin line, his chin was a soft mound that was almost unnoticeable, his beard was snow white, wire rimmed eyeglasses were so delicate they seemed to be part of his face. His eyes were blue and in spite of the ordeal he had been through.'

  • WHAT IS TIME? Part two?

    This energy is not available, the parts slow down and the clock shows time lost. A clock outside this frame of reference operates normally; this is in compete agreement with the theory of relitivity. An atomic clock will be affected in the same way, it operates with motion, the vibrating cesium crystal is still a form of motion. Science says that time and space came into being when the first sub atomic particle condensed from the singularity, what actully came into existance was motion and space, there was no time. It is motion and space that make the fabric of the universe, motion is the pulse of the universe. The theory of relativity has been ratified hundreds of times, an observer riding a beam of light would see the rest of the universe as being frozen because motion would not be detectable. Change the word, time, to motion,and nothing changes, everything becomes easier to understand, and time travel will no longer be a subject of discussion. H.B. Long.

    Relativity states that, as matter approaches the speed of light, mass approaches infinity and time approaches zero. Time is defined as a period over which events take place. Events require motion, and motion requires matter and space. Without motion there can be no time. What separates motion from time? Matter and energy are two forms of the same thing. Motion and time are not. Time is needed to calculate speed and distance. Man solved this problem by inventing time, his clocks measure the length of a day in hours, minutes, and seconds. A clock is nothing but a machine. It is motion that regulates the length of our day and year, motion of the Earth around its axis and its path around the sun, this has nothing to do with time, it is all about motion. A clock contains matter, therefore it has mass. If you subject a clock to relitivistic speed, its mass will increase; under this condition the movement of its components will slow due to the increased energy required to overcome inertia,

  • A question obout E=MC2.?

    I just finished watching a NOVA program titled E=MC2, the narrator stated that Einstein had discovered that mass and enegy is the same thing, in different forms. If this is entirely accurate, how do you account for gravity, energy has no gravity, to my knowledge, if it did, the incredible gravity of the singularity would have prevented its expasion. He also stated that the sun loses four million tons of mass each and every second, I know that this is incorrect, that may be the amount of mass that is used to convert hydogen into helium, every second, but only a small portion of this mass is lost in the process of fusion and converted into radiation. Is there something missing in the first statement?
