1 AntwortAstronomy & Spacevor 1 JahrzehntParticle/antiparticle are only different in electric charge but annihilate into energy?
Why. It seems to put quite a bit of importance on electric charge. Positron/electron, proton/anti-proton, matter/anti-matter, the charge seems to be the only difference. Anyone's opinion on why this is so?

4 AntwortenAircraftvor 1 JahrzehntWhich bird lays it's egg in another species nest which drives out the original chicks?
I saw a documentary about a species of bird that would lay it's egg in the nest of a smaller bird. The invading chick would push out all other original chicks and the parents would work tirelessly to feed the invader. I thought it was the Boobie Bird but that one only kicks out younger boobies. Thanks.

Unfortunately it was the same day that Camp Dravidian in Waco Texas was incinerated. http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2009/17apr_lyri...
