April 22nd. Western US. Morning meteors and Venus disappears.?

Question

Does anyone know about this? The Moon will occult Venus during the Lyrid meteor shower. Will any one get up to watch or photograph this? I have only seen this once and it was during the day. Unfortunately it was the same day that Camp Dravidian in Waco Texas was incinerated.  http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2009/17apr_lyrids.htm?list1296065

Didn't know that before you tell me. It would be interesting to see Venus disappear behind the dark part of the moon.
