Clear skies over West Virginia. So I guess I will. Edit: I just looked. The moon is still 12° west of the Pleiades, so the pass will occur tomorrow night, rather than tonight.

I'll bag Vesta again while I'm at it. Vesta will be just SW of a point halfway between HIP 49220 and ε Leonis. Edit: Yep. I found it. Between HIP 49220 and ε Leonis, there are three dim stars, not quite evenly spaced, that make sort of a bowed line. Vesta is just barely south of the middle star of the three, just about in the same slight arc.

Rain and clouds here tonight(someone in my town must have bought some new equipment) LOL

Tomorrow should be good for me.

The sky has been cloudy here in the UK for many nights running. Grrrr! :(

    Enjoy the view.

Some people really lack a grand vision of natural wonders don't they? Cirric...if my skies are clear at that time...I will certainly make an effort to see it.

It will have to be tonight for me because the weather calls for rain tomorrow night. Wouldn't you know it!

I would if it weren't cloudy. Hmm...sounds familiar...I guess because I also wrote an article about it on Space.com:

Thanks for the tip. It should be a good sight in binoculars or a small telescope.

The moon and a bunch of stars?

    Sounds lame.

I'm going to watch back episodes of Lost(tm) on Hulu.
