When doing candle magic what does it mean when your candle does these things?
I lit a blue candle for truth and healing; I am in a situation where I am being misunderstood. Anyways I lit a glass encased candle a few days ago and it finished.
The glass- the very top was dark soot and throughout the rest of the glass it's like a grey- ish white color. On one side of the candle there is what looks like a burn mark on the glass.
The flame- it was steady most of the time and towards the end of the process, i saw more blue in the flame. The candle wick had knots on it ,during the middle of the candle it kept going in curls/ circles. At the very end the candle split into two flames for a few minutes and merged into one big flame.

I agree. Everything you saw was most likely the result of how the candle was made. The candle is not a part of candle magic. It merely helps you focus your intent. That's the real magic. Don't get hung up on what the candle is doing, just concentrate.

The flame produces carbon which gets deposited on the glass. The wicks in most commercial candles are not very well manufactured, and deviations in the manufacturing will cause the effects you describe. Nothing supernatural here.
