Should I return these angelfish to the pet store? Please help me?

Yesterday I went to PetSmart and got 2 angelfish for my 29 gallon, cycled tank with sand at the bottom, four live plants, a rock cave and some other decorations as well as a heater and a filter. The PetSmart associate said that they would be good in a 29 gallon, but I'm beginning to think otherwise. I was doing some research last night on how to care for them, and I found that their fins can grow 12 inches tall. I just want the best for these fish, and if it means returning the Angels to the store, so be it. And the angelfish get along just fine, they were in a tank together, and they haven't been aggressive so far. Thank you!

I just got two new fish today and they settled in great but it took a few days for them to calm down and get used to the tank. Angle fish could take a while to selle down and they only grow that big if they r in the right conditions I'm not saying ur tank isn't good but angle fish being in an aquarium probably won't get that big. They grow that big in farms for breeding. I kept angle fish in a 40 gallon tank for angels and I got them wen they were like 4 inches tall and wen they died they were 6-7 inches I had 2 and they were lovely 😊 so sad wen they die tho

Most pet stores have a 14 day policy on the fish so if you are afraid that it will grow that tall,
Return them. I'm not saying that they will get that tall cuz i don't know much about angelfish but if your scared of that then return them if you want. Next time do lots of research before you get your fish so you know what to expect. Hope this helps
