hello! I have a 30 gallon tank and here are the fish I have in it. 2 angelfish, 3 mollies, 1 red wag platy, 1 glowfish, 2 small algea eaters. Don't tell me that there is a problem with the angelfish because there isn't! They are perfectly fine in there and they don't even try to hurt any of the fish so don't even talk about that. Don't tell me my tank is overstocked and that I shouldn't get more fish because that isn't the damn question. Tell me what fish I could put with those fish. I am getting a new fish in 2 days and wanted to get a new fish that I haven't had before. Can you name some thugs I could get? I don't really want to get more of the same fish. Hello! My fancy guppies are pregnant and are giving birth any day now. In attempts to have a bigger number of fry not being eaten, I put my 2 pregnant guppies in the plastic bags that they were bought in. I made sure I tied them just like the people in the pet stores because I always watch to see how they do it every tinme I get a fish and I always save the bags. I didn't put each fish in one bag I have them in separate bags, floating in the water to maintain the tank temperature. I will still continue to feed them by opening the bag and closing it again. I do have fish bowls, well..... They are more like vases and I didn't think that was enough room for her and her fry but maybe neither is a "fish bag" Can someone tell me if this idea is okay and safe for the fish/fry? Please help! Hello! I'm pretty positive that my fancy guppy is pregnant. I will tell you all the things that I've noticed and you tell me if that means she is pregnant. 1) She is very fat. 2) I see bunches of black dots in her gravid spot. I'm assuming those are the eyes of the babies 3)She is dominating "feeding time" like nipping when another guppy goes for a bite next to her 4) Eating a lot more than usual. Due to this info, is she pregnant and if so, when will she give birth? Please answer! Thanks

Hello! I've been trying to breed my Betta's for about a month now. In total I've tried 3 times and still have been unsuccessful. The same thing always happens. He builds the nest, they mate, he puts the eggs in the nest and takes care of them and after about a day there are no more eggs. I noticed that he drops them a lot and I do have gravel and I know I should take that out but is that the only issue? My tank is a ten gallon and is always 75 degrees Fahrenheit. I can make the temperature higher if needed. I have a filter and they do like eachother obviously because they have attempted to have children 3 times. Also I condition them for a week before I mate them and put their tanks next to eachother. I've read that you can do something with a cup and he builds his bubble nest in it or something like that. Should I do that? Also I have tried feeding him and have tried not feeding him during the time he takes care of the eggs and both times haven't worked. Anything helps. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong! Thanks

I have a 30 gallon tank and I have my fancy guppies and one is pregnant already. I was planning to get Molly fish and angelfish in a couple days. I plan to breed them all. My question is do the fish have a problem breeding with different species of fish in there with them? Guppies and Molly fish are live bearers but angelfish aren't. Is that gonna be an issue? Thanks

Hello! I just got my 30 gallon tank yesterday and it is in the process of being cycled. I don't want very colorful fish because the tank has a nature green background and all the plants are green and so is the decorations for them to hide in. It basically looks like a swamp. Therefore I don't think colored fish would look good in there. I really want cichlids but I hear that they are a lot of work to keep healthy. Also I hear that they will dig up your plants in the gravel and it took me sooooo long to get the decorations perfect in there lol. So that would be annoying if I had to fix the plants all the time. (The tank is freshwater btw) I was also thinking about freshwater angel fish but idk I kind of wanted more than one type of fish in my tank. Give me some suggestions please! Thanks

It's been 3 days and 11 hours since the eggs were put into the bubble nest. Is there no chance of them hatching or what? Should I just flush the nest? Please help! Thanks

I don't even see any eyeballs forming and in 3 hours it's gonna be two days since they were laid. I know they can take up to 3 days but I don't see any eyeballs forming at all! I'm really scared that their not gonna have any babies! Help me please! Thanks

Hello! I recently bred my crowntail Betta's and at 11:00a.m it will be the second day from when they were put into the bubble nest. I'm really worried because it doesn't look like there is anything in the bubbles to me. The bubble nest is behind the filter and I can't see it very well but there is some of it not behind the filter and I don't think I see anything. Were all of her eggs infertile? Can I just not see? It's making me nervous. Please help! Thanks

I know there are many types of goldfish and I was planning to get some for my aquarium. I know how many I can get from the size of my aquarium and that's about 5. What type of goldfish should I get and why and what are the needed supplies/care do they need. I'm teally want to stay away from the regular goldfish. Also tell me the non-benefits of the goldfish if there are any. Especially waste production because I know that regular goldfish produce a lot of waste. Please help! Thanks

Hello! I just recently bred my CrownTail Betta's. It's been 1 day since the eggs were placed into the bubble nest. After (if) they hatch I know that I have to keep my male in the tank with them until they are all free swimming. When can I breed the same two Betta's again? I know the fish is going to be tired after taking care of his babies so that's why I ask. Please help! Thanks

Hello! My betta recently started building his bubble nest 2 days ago. It is still somewhat tiny. I have a couple questions. 1) How much longer is it going to take until the bubble nest is finished and they embrace? ) The nest is very unusually built. There is one spot where most of his bubbles go and it is behind the filter. (don't worry the filter is off while he is building) and there are random clusters of bubbles on the surface as well. That leads to my second question 2) Is this unusual for the bubble nest to be scattered around like that? 3) Do you think he is taking longer to build it than normal? Please help! Thanks

Hello! My betta started making a bubble nest last night. It's like 6:10 pm right now. My female betta is in the tank with him. (7 gallons btw) I was wondering should I take her out while he builds it and how long will it take for him to get done? It doesn't seem like she has been interrupting him at all and I know that I have to take her out after the spawning but what about while he is building and how long will the building take? Hello! I have a female and a male in a 7 gallon tank together in hopes to breed them. They have been chasing eachother around and I see a little white thing where her egg spot is. I just bought the filter yesterday along with the female. My filter creates a pretty strong current so I turn it off when I feed them. Lately he has been spending a lot of time over by the filter. I turned it off and saw about 6 bubbles in a row. I also saw him try to add one to it but it popped after it got added. I don't know if this is from the filter or if he is finally making the bubble nest. Please help! Thanks
