How do ebay JUSTIFY final value fee on postage?

They have nothing to do if I post through royal mail etc,?

Are the just ripping people off?

thanks Biff. But is it honest? can they Morally do this? if sellers are ripping off the buyers by overcharging on postage, should Ebay be part of this scam? which they now are!

and further biff don't sellers now add an extra 11% on postage to cover eBay,s slice?

lots of people used to make the item price low and charge much higher than actual shipping costs to get around the final sale fee - eBay wised up and changed the fee to be on everything
