Am I in the wrong for being mad?

So my friend and I were walking to class passing period and he wanted to talk the long way, so I went with him. He was going through another classroom, taking up our time but our class wasnt too far so I waited. Then the warning bell rang so we began walking again but he was blocking my way and pushing me. I told him to stop because we were going to be late and he when he finally did the bell rang and the teacher shut the door on us. The teacher then came back out and told us to ho to detention and i could tell my friend felt bad but i ignored him the whole time. I left him to go to another classroom and he went to detention by himself. Am I wrong for being mad? Is it mostly my fault?
