Who is more important, your mother or your children?
Just had a row with my husband because he openly admitted that his mother is more important than our children. I am so upset and offended by this, I think your children should always come first.

It is your children. Your mother has already had a life, your children have not. Your husband is biased.

Depends on the scenario of the conversation. For example, a passing away mother, or upset mother or mother in need of help is more important than children that have a mother to look after them.
Honestly the question makes me laugh because as a yogi, I believe there is nobody more important than anyone. We are all just as important as each other. What decides our action is importance of scenario.
Love for your child can be replicated for everyone if you wish it to be. Love is inside and developed from emotion. Emotion can be controlled with mind. Once controlled with mind, body will be free from such suffering as anger, offence and sadness. Body will no longer decide emotion. Mind will.
Much love,

as a man I assure you that he didn't mean what he said. Men love their parents, wife, children. None of these can be loved like the other one. I mean the way a man loves his mother he cant love his children and the way he loves his children he cannot love his mother. so don't worry.

They both are important. Not one is greater than the other. If you lose one you lose half yourself.
