If you fully trust someone or something that you don't know then you truly are a fool.

And while I am neither vegetarian or vegan this is just another reason to stop eating processed foods.

I don't trust anybody that doesn't offer traceability.

If they do offer traceability - I want to know that the food (whatever it is) was produced ethically (according to my own ethics, natch).

For that reason, I very, very rarely buy any meat from the supermarket.

The alternative is to raise, grow, and hunt your own food, which many people cannot or will not do.

Cheap *** ones no. Which is why I don't shop at places like that. Most cheap places don't support animal welfare standards, have lower quality meats and they mix other things with their meats, pinkslime is another. It's best to shop at places that have animal welfare standards and with your local farmers who support humane methods too.
