It can't be simply because of prejudice since multiple guys are judged the same way. And I'm not just talking about some make-up and clothing, I'm talking about extreme cases like eating disorders and plastic surgery obsession and blah, blah. And people say it's the modelling business (I agree 75%) but it's not only wannabe supermodels but nearly half of the teen girls and probably a large of portion of grown up women I've ran across (including friends and relatives) act that way. Windows Explorer keeps disappearing and reappearing on my Win7 laptop just like that. I don't have any malware or viruses (I've checked) and my speed is better than ever. I've also checked the settings and there was no solution. I've also rebooted and tried Safe Mode, which worked but I'd rather just get it fixed. I need SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY. IF your answer is related to speed and some downloadable software you'll automatically have your answer reported. Don't know the answer?, then don't answer.

I'm planning on switching from Win7 to Gentoo Linux (no discussion about that) and I want to know if it's good for gaming. I don't wanna hear no "Windows is better than Linux and vice versa" bullshit cuz I've had Windows XP, Vista, 7 and I'm about to buy a Win8 tablet, so I'm no "fanboy" or anything. I've got an 1.30 GHz AMD processor with HD Graphics, is that good for gaming on Linux or bad?

My websites always take time before loading on all my web browsers. It's not like they're loading slow, but they are responding in a extremely slow manner. When I open up a page it's all blank for about 30-60 seconds than it starts loading. And this started happening all of a sudden. I don't have any viruses or other malwares.

Multiple programs (including windows programs such as the explorer etc.) keep crashing on my PC for a period of time then they crash again. I've checked for viruses, malwares, rootkits and spyware and stuff like that, and I don't see any problems. And all my disks are 100% defragmented. I've also cleaned my registry. I haven't downloaded any softwares lately. This has just started happening all of a sudden so it's not because "my computer is old" or something like that. It has gone on for weeks. And changing to safe mode doesn't help a ****. Are there any other solutions except buy this, buy that.

When I tried to click on a question it stood "You cannot view this question at this time" instead of the page of the real question. What's the matter? Is this something new to Y!A?

I don't wanna no argument or trolling, I just wanna hear some opinions on this.

My computer just got slow all of a sudden. The first startup was retardedly slow. I tried to check for viruses and junk files but that didn't help a ****. I've even tried restarting it in Safe Mode, nothing helps. It all happened alluva sudden (so it can't be the computers age) and I haven't downloaded/updated any softwares lately. Also it's the computer itself (which I've mentioned a million times) which is slow so don't even answer "buy a new internet".

I have a Compaq computer (model: Presario CQ57 Notebook PC) with a HP tool disk. The HP service is fine but it constantly ask me to do this and do that. It keeps asking me to launch HP Quick Web, a very wack OS. And when ignore the request, it launches it anyway in a few hours. I wanna know how to launch it whenever I want (never) rather than having HP asking me the whole damn time.

Instead of following some random guy's theory or religion, I think people should follow what makes most sense to them. For example: most christians I know would rather get brains washed then learning and seeking logistical points. This goes out to all of y'all who stubbornly follows other "prophets" track rather than depending on your own common sense. Even many atheist just follow say, the big bang theory without seeking logistics.

I myself believe there's a personal creator (not the bearded one) of existence (not saying he created everything). I also believe in evolution and consider all religions as bullshit. I also believe that Earth is a unique and blessed planet with nearly deviant nature. Why, because it makes most sense to me. I don't choose between the religion and big bang theory.

OK, I have several files/program that can't open normally. When I checked event viewer it turned out that it was a SideBySide error (I don't even know what it is). I can't open the files or the applications. I've checked for viruses and I there where non, so that's not the problem ether. I didn't install the program recently. And I've never been hacked. I wan't to know what the how I can fix/prevent these problems besides just re-starting at Safe Mode (which hardly works). I havn't done anything to my operating system (windows 7) and I always read before handling with admin stuff.
