When to start applying for internship?

Well, I am currently enrolled in a double degree program for BBA and Management. I am starting 3rd year now (5th semester). The program is four years, but only 3 are theory, the last one has to be an internship, meaning I'm in last year of uni now. I know its quiet early, but honestly I'm burning on starting to apply, just for the sake of having the security to have found a place as soon as possible. When do you think I should start sending out applications? The intership could start as early as June next year.

You should start immediately. 

The internship listings through your college's career website should have targeted graduation dates associated with the listing itself anyways so employers will assume you're graduating around that time frame if you're applying for the job. If it doesn't, you should just start applying to the jobs you're interested in as you see them. 

Generally speaking, when companies recruit, they structure their start date to align with graduation time, so they are pretty accommodating in that aspect. Depending on the company's hiring needs, some recruit exclusively in the fall while others recruit each quarter/semester (whichever system your school runs on). I would definitely check your career website each week to see if there are any new listings and speak with career counselors as well as be aware of when your career fairs are. 

Additionally, you should be reaching out to your family, friends and other forms of contacts so that they can keep you in mind if they hear of anything or even put you in touch with someone that is in a better position to help you since this will essentially give you a head start in the recruiting process.
